The Brew @ the Field - 11/6
« on: November 02, 2009, 12:32:15 pm »
Has anyone seen these guys?  I saw a poster at the Freakout saying they were coming this Friday to the Field for free (I love this place for that).  A friend of mine raves about them.  I figured if I\'m gonna see them, this would be the way to do it.  If I happen not to like them... at least I won\'t have lost much money on the deal!  Anyways... just wondering if anyone had any opinions about them or if anyone else was planning on going?

Sold... I\'m pretty easy to convince.  All I need is good music and some beers and that usually makes for a great time.

Great band actually, I\'ve worked with them a bunch.  Maybe the MOST professional young band working today.  Great vocals and harmonies.  Good songwriting and cover choices.  Worth the money on any day, unbeatable for free.

The Brew played @ Let-It-Roll Fest..I thoroughly enjoyed their set before The Breakfast\'s. They are certainly talented and worth it to check out. From what I recall, they infiltrate elements of classic rock with lots of progressive jamming..(my fave)...Have fun if you go- I\'ll be face-melting at Putnam Den for TB Friday 11/6..YAY

you know who else cover this song amazingly? UM, i love it.

that said, the brew are great guys, a great band, and have killed our Awesometown twice so far. timmy sat in with them the last two years at .town.    they bring it.  may not be eveyones cup of tea, but great songwriters, and vocalists as well.  they are growing on me.
