I had a dream last night that I did not go to the show and they played "that sick new song" and I was bummed because I missed it.  Then I woke up and realized the show was tonight and they have not busted out a new tune in like a year and a half. True story.

great night in the keystone state:

~one set~

Jam > Synergy, May Fly Disarray, Rush, Beef Barley, Rufus > Frankly Po Zest > Rufus > Frankly Po Zest, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.

~encore~

Wild Pack of Asscracks

Really a cool room. I dug it a lot. The venue it self is kind of tucked away and super chill. Nice staff and $1 Lionshead pilsners!

Nice crowd, not packed, but the folks were digging on it and by Liz Reed the Canyon Crescent had the doozle breached by some girls getting down and a couple of guys in suit & tie.

The opening jam had an old timey feel to me, like a black n\' white pictue or a Tarantino flick or something. It was totally different and exceptional. Then Synergy hit and Jordan was working the new XK-2. I think its a winner! The jam threw the whole room directly into the pudding and I caught I couple of looks of disbelief/astonishment in the audience. When May Fly began things got gritty. I am always amazed at the places the band goes in Rush. This one was right on and all that but oh, Beef Barley! Nasty and funky! The band was starting to shape energy before us. The Rufus > FPZ sangie was absolutely sick, the band was locked in and just toying with us.

I think the Liz Reed closer was brilliant. Not only does the band totally own this tune, but it gives the crowd something familiar that they can get down to. And sure enough, the joint was grooving along and forgetting about the time.

Adrian mashed his drums to bits during his solo in Liz Reed.

Epic time and can\'t wait for the Square. These boys are bringing it folks. Thanks guys for coming out and playing for us.

Nice to meet you weekapaug19, gotta represent .info! Thanks for introducing yourself.

Oh, and thanks guys for the space to crash. I don\'t think I would of made it very far

The show did get taped by this cat Keith at the front with his mics clamped within 10\' of the stage. I helped him with the setlist because he was unfamiliar with the song titles. He said he would post it on the archive very soon. I\'m keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks dude for taping nonetheless!

Soary I didn\'t get back to you last night bro. I didn\'t see your text until this morning and I figured I\'d just post it here. Wish you could\'ve made it. Would\'ve been real cool to have a contingent of hard cores there to show the kind folks of Plains, PA how are band rocks! Lets do up the red square!!

nice meeting ya Frolfer...band was good sat. night, I\'ve seen better, I\'ve seen worse. Crowd was getting into it at the end which was good to see. Highlight was the FPZ>Rufus portion

fuckin a. nice turnaround indeed. sounds pretty good. nice little opening jam. just segued into synergy...tim\'s tone sounds slightly different than usual...kind of "stash"-y. i like it

oh damn. didn\'t realize it\'s a matrix. bass might be a little low, but it\'s very clean and clear.

and yeah this rufus/FPZ is tight
