btw, i was talking to my boss about mt. rd and we will trademark the mt. rd logo (in the state of CT) for you if you\'d like.

For how much?  Do I need the artists approval?

gencs, you own the LLC which owns the logo. you\'re good (unless justin decides he wants to start a dispute with you over ownership which i don\'t think he is going to do). you will need to pay the CT filing fee (very inexpensive) and the minimal maintenance that follows... no legal fees for mt. rd., of course!
