In all honestly I am completely shocked by their success this season. They have two top candidates for Rookie of The Year in Bergeron and Raycroft (my vote goes to him), Thornton is peaking late in the season, and hell the little guy Samsonov is barely healthy. Three points out of the top seed for the Eastern Conference/most in the league, not too shabby for a team that wasn\'t expected to do much this season.

Sorry about the thread title, but I can\'t stand basketball and hate the Lakers.

Hey it\'s cool if you want to hate. Hockey rox but your Bruins will never do a damn thing sorry to say. I\'m one of those rare So. Cal Hockey fans from before Gretzky coming out here. I have been a suffering Kings fan for a long long time. Their unis were purple and gold @ one time when Dr. Jerry Buss owned both teams.

I remember those uniforms, with the nice little crown on them, heh. I was never a Gretzky fan but I do have a picture from when he saketed at Staven\'s own DiLungo Ice Rink when he was a king in the state to play the Whalers. Yea, and I know the Bruins probably won\'t do much damage in the playoffs this year, they always seem to get bad seeds, even when they were the top seed a couple years back, they had to play the Canadiens who were the hottest team in hockey going into the playoffs with the hottest goaltender at that point, and as we saw from the Ducks last year, a hot goaltender can bring you to the promise land. I\'m just hoping Raycroft stays consistent and hits a hot streak near the end of March and the Bruins could be this years Ducks, as long as they don\'t get Jersey in the first round.

yea well, Lindros can throw a nasty punch, too bad Joe had to find out the hard way, oh well, that\'s life. How\'s Lindros\' concussions treating him anyways? Hell I remember when he was tagged as the next gretzky, to think that he didn\'t want to be a Nordique, I guess that\'s what you get when you a greedy Canuck (no offense anyone from Canada), you end up with multliple concussions that is going to end your career early just like your brother\'s. To think, playing hockey for fourteen or so years of my life, I remember them telling me to keep my head up in Mites!

And for you Ranger fans, I apologize, but as you can see, money only buys you championships in BASEBALL!

who, if everyone is healthy, have a shot at making the Stanley Cup Finals, only to fall to the Avalanche or Red Wings.

here to the rangers!!!highest player salary,bottom of the pack when it comes down to their record though...the biggest disappointment in sports history??im rootin for the bruins in the playoffs though..either them or tampa bay and my main man little marty stlouis!!!!!
