just another tally for the Hawks vs. the Devils. Oh yeah, 5-1.

A sampling of one game...  Enjoy the victory, we\'ll be at least one more time this season...

improper use of my quotation. but whatever.

Gotta love the shut out last night!  The seats were so good that my cousin called me to tell me that I was on TV a bunch of times throughout the game...  Nice to beat the Rags in their own arena... Even nicer to get to meet Lou and Stevens during the first and second intermission...

I knew I saw some jerk from NJ smiling in HD all night.

Just kidding, jealous that you were there.

I\'m sure the only reason my cousin spotted me was that I was the only Devil fan wearing the old away christmas color sweater (you know when the whites were the home sweater and the one w/ more color was the away)...

It was actually a really good game for both teams...  I believe both goalies recorded a shut-out because it was 0-0 when it went to shoot-out...  The difference was that we were able to shut down Gaborik where others teams haven\'t...

Brodeur is fucking ridiculous. 51 SOG shutout, plus the shoot-out shut-out. 4 SO\'s in the last 10 games. 68th season in the NHL........ He is the ONE aspect the Devils can claim as \'better\' than the Hawks.

Are there always that many devils fans in MSG?

Are there alot of Rangers fans in Newark when they play there?

There weren\'t that many dev fans, it just happened to be that section.  As for when they play in Newark, there\'s more Ranger fans than Devs... The frustrating thing is that we have a great team, but we can never sell out unless it\'s a Ranger game or the playoffs...

The Atlanta Thrashers have parted ways with the most celebrated player in franchise history, trading star winger Ilya Kovalchuk to the New Jersey Devils. The Thrashers acquired defenceman John Oduya, forwards Niclas Bergfors and Patrice Cormier and a first round pick.

I guess this puts the Devils into "serious contender" mode...

The Devs may have had a rough last 10 games, but have been in the #1 slot in the east for most of the season and now in #2...  What makes you think that they weren\'t serious contendors before they got Kovalchuk?

and i still think the Hawks are hoisting the Cup this year.
