Kicking myself that I can\'t go to this. If you want to see one of the best pianists in the state, go here. Dave doesn\'t play much at all anymore, maybe a dozen times a year, so this is really rare. :thumbsup:

Opening Act: The Nicole Zuraitis Trio

Vocalist and Litchfield native, Nicole Zuraitis opens the benefit. Nicole has performed from NYC to Italy and in 2006 she won 1st place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing University Competition in New York City. She has been involved with Litchfield Performing Arts since she was 12 years old and as vocal teaching assistant at the Litchfield Jazz Camp. She is accompanied by Chris DeAngelis on Bass and Rachel Z on Piano.

The jam before Mooboo\'s Voodoo (Episode 2) is over 26 minutes long and like nothing else I\'ve heard them do. Talk about firing on all cylinders!

Tonight was great. We brought down the house and then Brubeck and company smashed it into little pieces. Aruny thanks for coming, you da effin man. Your moms a nice lady too. Tell her great to meet her

i got some video. Got told to put it down, but there was a professioal videoing and i think theres some stuff up on youtube. it was such a intimate, small bistro/theater/venue. the group Danglis played with sounded very good and im sure theyll play together again. Dave Brubecks son Chris sat in with them and the sax player Militello sat in for a blues number with them.
