The Ultimate Spectator Sport

Until now, watching a friend or loved one participate in an endurance event consisted of seeing the start and the finish, with perhaps one check-in somewhere along the route. What happened in between remained a mystery—and a whole lot of waiting. All of that has changed with the Revolution 3 Triathlon Online Experience, designed to revolutionize the sport of spectating.

Scheduled to kick off at the scenic Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, Connecticut on June 7, the Revolution 3 Triathlon has attracted hundreds of prominent athletes from all over the world. The organizers of the event are committed to offering a first-class racing experience for both athletes and supporters, including the introduction of their high-tech online viewer.

By logging onto our website during the event, you can easily monitor the progress of each participant, enjoying an insider’s view of the action. Below are just some of the things you can do with our innovative Online Experience:

Customize your portal to see what most interests you
*Track your favorite athletes in real time along the race course
*Pause and rewind the live race coverage
*See the latest photos and event commentaries
*View current competitor standings fed by GPS tracking mechanisms
*See various parts of the course using live video streaming from six cameras
*Participate in public and private chat rooms about the event
*View official race results and times for all competitors

With the Revolution 3 Triathlon Online Experience, you don’t have to be a competitor to experience the excitement of race day. No matter where you’re located—at home, along the course, or anywhere with an Internet connection—you can enjoy front-row action and show your support for your favorite athletes!

Awesome feats of strength are inspiring! Great job.

I know for a fact that I can\'t do any of these stages on their own, never mind all in one day.  Best of luck to you.

Half Iron Man...pffft...I just got home from running a 10K!  52:48!  I could do a Half Iron Man while drunk, stoned, blindfolded, hungover, one hand tied behind my back, in a potato sack, suffering from swine flu, ulcerative colitis, and the plague, no food for 3 days before or after, and got home from Phish at 2am the night before. :)

Go Paul!

7 hours 11 minutes

minus 15 minutes aprox to change a tire.

so technically i broke the 7 hour marker although i dont have official times for a day or two.

i would probably die somewhere along the bike route. and if i somehow survived that, i would without a doubt be found passed out on the side of the road during the run. totally ridiculous, paul ryan.

yea, there were a couple of ambulances and iv drips given out yesterday due to the heat and people not planning properly. luckily the run had a lot of shade and they had water stations every mile.

however that didn\'t prevent my arms from becoming completely sunburned despite suntan lotion

just barely, but I hit 55.6mph! :banjump:

Do some folks have a "crew" that have back up wheels etc following like I have seen on TV for some races ?

Also when you finish a race like this are you completely drained or high or both ?

really awesome that you can do this and do

congrats
