um...me, jen, holly, nick, zuke, todd, and robin are from ct. well i think nick is from ct anyway.
i believe eric aka incognito is from new haven...i\'ve definitely seen poorer CT showings in nyc
hey zuke, do you remember what song it was that we were dancing together? it was a bit "electronic" sounding and i thought it was awesome. the band was really patient with the jam. and the crowd off to the left of the stage was groovin, too.
hmm...details are a little hazy. gravity? i think that\'s the only song that entered
EDM territory. yeah everyone there was getting down pretty hard at that point...except for freespirit, apparently
good crowd, overall. way better than the last time i saw them there (last july). very good energy too. i\'m sure the weather helped. huuuuge jam into metropolis. great opener. awesome middle jam that just slammed into the ending. they hit it hard and had the crowd in the palm of their hand just like that. honey buttter was good, but didn\'t stand out for me, except for the echidna\'s in the middle. i\'m not a huge zappa fan, but this song is pretty sweet and band was really tight. don\'t remember the segues. gravity was my highlight of the night. shit got crazy. i think it was in gravity where they laid down the dancey stuff. the jam was more than just that. they took it to a few different places. i\'d love to hear this one again. don\'t recall the segue into IG, but the segue out of it was just the end of IG, a small pause, and then the beginning of the composed ending of gravity. before rush, tim mentioned they "haven\'t played this one in a while." this happened to be my smoke break song. caught the very end of the jam. guess i missed out. i think they started with a good times bad times fakeout for a second before whole lotta love...maybe not, but i thought i recognized some other zep song before they started. i don\'t remember too much of beef barley except for the mario tease. that was pretty cool. chase was standard but good.
i wish they could have played a little longer. the crowd was diggin it and they were playing really well. i would love to hear the metropolis and the gravity again. in fact,
i would pay cash money to hear the soundboard of this showdiana thanks again for the goody bags. i\'ve always said breakfast shows need more glowsticks and raver glasses...well, maybe not, but it was good to have em last night. you should come and celebrate the actual day next friday.
