Hey, Einsteins, my set list post was a joke. That is nothing more than Sully\'s and The Field\'s set lists combined into one because people bitched about them playing the same songs as the last CT show.

IMO, if they TPIR while I am in attendance, I will walk out of the show and never return. If I wanted to hear a shitty games show theme song I would watch the gameshow network. I might be alone but to waste time and their ability on something so fucking stupid is wrong.

I\'d take a kick in the balls and Vera Street before I would ever want to hear TPIR.

Also, am I the only person who wants to see the Breakfast play their originals or what? I mean covers are good when played rarely and placed properly in the show. If you want covers, go see Mean Carlene or Derick and The Fun Bags, give me some fucking originals.

Honestly, I didn\'t pick up on the setlist thing, but the covers that I chose would never be touched by those cover bands you mentioned.  The three covers that I put in my set would take up all of 8 minutes total.

- The Price Is Right theme was played over 15 times from 03-08 as a set opener, closer or encore
- How can you rip Maggie M\'Gill? Played what, one time?
- Adagio, are you seriously going to rip this as a select?  When they busted this out at FF2 everyone went apeshit.

All of this trashing of cover selection is quite a change from the guy who once said that he\'s calls for the Safety Dance at every show he goes to...

You enjoy what you enjoy and I do the same.

Those 15 times made me puke.
Played one time too many.
Everyone is jumping off a bridge, go join them.

I also hope to hear Hey, Hey, What can I do? at every TT show I attend.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

Aww, wish I had known about this show before committing to doing something. I just checked the calendar recently for upcoming shows and didn\'t see this one listed. :pout:

FYI and IMHO...

The arrangement and chord changes in TPIR theme song is extraordinarily challenging - much much much harder than free-form improvisations.  I would bet big $ that the tune is a fun exercise for the band for precisely that reason.  Let the guys have some fun....

If anybody that\'s coming on sat could bring me a copy of the recent Field show (Tim\'s B-day) I\'d appreciate it.

I\'m pretty sure that in a statement made earlier, I said that I would leave that alone.  That being said, Adrian solidified that Ahoy! is/was it\'s own song in another post.  That\'s all the re-assuring that I needed and I don\'t need to constantly drill that point home when one of the band agreed with me...
