my .02 is that everyone has the right to say whatever they want here short of just ripping on someone for no reason. if tim wants to set up an account here and someone calls him out and he decides to respond to the complaint, then fine, it\'s up to him. If however, tim just started writing horrible stuff about someone for no reason whatsoever outside of a personal gripe, then take it elsewhere.
Past that, I absolutely agree 100% with leiths comment that as a member of the band you should hold yourself to a higher standard and keep it to official statements about the band, shows, etc. But that\'s what
I would (try to) do if I was in the band. I\'m not, it\'s not my place to say how to run their buisness. End of debate. If they want to post, let them.
And to devils advocate myself, as just a fan and not someone who knows the band, I think it\'s kind of cool that the band members read and post on the board. If I could go to a message board back in 96 and tell trey I though his solo sucked the night before and he called me out, I\'d think it was pretty damn cool. The fact that he was responding to me, good or bad would give me a deeper connection to the band and make me like them more. Unless they turned out to be pricks. :lol:
That\'s not an official statement btw, you\'d have to go to dave for one of those. Just my opinion.
