Apparently they are not too good about informing venues of their pro-taping policy, so good luck getting your equipment past the door. Ween has a pretty big following of tape traders & a substantial web presence in MP3 trading. This comes mainly from their direct involvement in releasing outtakes on the web as well as allowing taping at shows.

i was actually concerned about this selling out since the NYC show sold so quick.... i was going to stop and get tickets tomorrow but i suppose now i wont?


well im super-pumped for this show... i\'ll definitely be pregaming it and latenighting it at my place in new haven if anyone is interested in chillin.... also have some crash space for anyone who claims it :)

I\'m not working until the untz fest after the show. I may come in early to check it out.  I can ask Friday what the deal is with recording. I can also check on the status of ticket sales, but based on small amount of staff scheduled I\'d say a sell out is ser long shot.  If it\'s close Friday I\'ll pull some tix aside.

... 7pm show? really? is there an opener? it says on the website that the doors open at 930 for the dance party... wtf? how long are they going to play for?

But don\'t be too alarmed by 930 doors for the dance party- they\'ll be doing that upstairs. I\'d say opener 8:00 - 8:45, Gene Ween 9:00- 10:45/11:00.
