Hello everyone! Just letting you know that this Saturday @ the Lounge at Tuxedo Junction in Danbury, CT will be a great night of live music. For only 5 bucks you will see three great performances from Larissa Delorenzo, The Ordinary Way and Scarecrow Collection.

Where:
Tuxedo Junction
2 Ives Street, Danbury CT.

When:
doors open @8pm,
Larissa Delorenzo @9pm
The Ordinary Way @10pm
Scarecrow Collection@11:33pm

Larissa Delorenzo - This self-taught singer/songwriter draws influences from the likes of The Red Hot Chili Peppers all the way to Ani DiFranco. Her lyrical style and powerful delivery makes you go, "Oh no she didn\'t!" Though her playful and humorous approach dominates her performances, this newcomer intelligently breaks the rules and is bound to be taken seriously. Go to her website http://www.larissadelorenzo.com and download some of her tunes and I promise you will not be disappointed. Great songs performed with lots of energy while making you think and listen to her words. If you have yet to see her live you are really missing out!!

The Ordinary Way (new groove of the month 9/03 - jambands.com) - Based in Northern Virginia (Washington DC metropolitan area), The Ordinary Way projects a musical style and unique composition not comparable to anything out there. Incorporated into the music are elements of many styles, including funk, rock, jazz, blues, improvisation, reggae, Americana and soul. A seasoned national touring band, the band\'s live show takes its audience on a special journey that has been leaving crowds everywhere dancing the night away.

The band consists of seven members, with featured guests at certain shows. Gordon Sterling wails on lead guitar and vocals. Chris Stringfellow thumps the bass and rhythm guitar. Austin Mendenhall jams on the mandolin and rhythm / lead guitar. Robin Boldt punishes the skins. Jesse Hooper pounds the keyboards and tweaks out other unearthly sounds, Fabienne Gustave belts out lead and backup vocals, and Ryan Leonardo is featured on congas and other percussion.

Scarecrow Collection - Scarecrow Collection is an original group of musicians creating an original sound. They have been described as "Rock n\' Roots Music", but their music is truly genre breaking. They are heady music that you will have no problem shaking your booty to....

The group began several years back in a small NJ basement, jamming out some original tunes and playing the occasional gig at local coffee houses and open mic nights. After several changes, and dozens of original tunes, the band has settled in on its current line-up: Bass, Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Keyboards (with the occasional guest musician!) The band plays at locations in NYC such as The Bitter End and Tobacco Road. In NJ, the band frequents its favorite haunt, The Underpass in Elmwood Park. More recently, the band has played stages from Richmond VA to Albany NY.

This is a 21+ plus show. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I hope to see you all on Sat.

Actually thats considered promotion, not information... What you have is strictly promo information, it doesn\'t seem like a word of mouth post.  Looks like you took that whole section from their website

You can do whatever you want, I\'m not a moderator but I do know it is proper ettiqutte not to post dates and promote shows on another bands website.  Considering this is the only PB message board yet not affiliated with their website I\'d say do what have you BUT this is where pbfans gather and what not.. As much as you feel you are doing your part "sharin\' the groove", you have to realize that PB is still growing and that they need ALL the promotion they can get for their shit, no one else....

Joe - i am a big supporter of PB and have had them on my radio show 3 times already and plug their shows on the show whenever possible, but i understand what you are saying and while I don\'t agree with it I respect your opinion. If dave or any of the moderators have issue with it they will let me know and I will be all the wiser ...

knowing is half the battle!!
