set I: Baseball>One Reason, E&S (Blue Grass), Papa>Still Standing>Jezebel, Where\'s My Mind, Motorcycle, Honey Bee, Gas.
sorry, don\'t know set II. i just got the above from the band\'s list after the show. should have grabbed \'em both. rookie mistake, sorry.
trevor garrod, keys, was on an acoustic guitar and harmonica for where\'s my mind, motorcycle and honey bee, i believe it was. a heady chic in the crowd who was getting down and knew the songs from the first chords said it was the debut of the song motorcycle, which is a trevor tune. the band said they may have played it once before, they couldn\'t remember. hehehe.
adrian sat in for the majority of the second set and encore. he was playing bongos, cymbals, tambourine and an assortment of cow bells, i believe. matt vallo got a kick out of how adrian was bashing the cymbals with his tambourine. classic. after the show, tlg guitarist josh clark remarked that adrian has an incredible sense for music, that he can anticipate what\'s going to happen. he genuinely looked really impressed.
i gotta say i went in with really high expectations tonight and damn were they met! personally heard moments of influences ranging from the allman brothers to the grateful dead to pink floyd. i\'m eager for more. wednesday nyc here we come!
great lighting as well. they had a cool rig. well done.
and first impressions are that they\'re really chill guys, taboot. thanks to them and all the bfam in the house for another great night in new haven!!
