yea, Jim McDonald! what a great guy. I can\'t speak for him as of late, but He used to play in the same open mic house band that I did in college down in new haven. Havent seen him in two years, but I\'m sure he\'s still around new haven and doing his thing.

I\'m happy that the band has made a decision, and I hope the best for them.. I know I will continue to go and support their music, by dancing my ass off and telling everyone how incredible the Breakfast is.

Although I really really liked the original name.

Hey Alexander "Skal" Zurflueh, I am from Dartmouth too.

Now that the name change is all but official, it is no use debating it or criticising the new name.  If we truly love this band, all we should do now is unconditionally support any decision they make.  As for changing the nature of the music, all I can say is this: I hope they don\'t start making a habit out of doing 3-5 minute songs, and I hope they don\'t forgo guitar solos in favor of quick, catchy, lyrical songs.  I am only one fan, and my opinion may hold little weight, but I was attracted to this band because of Palmieri\'s skill as a lead guitarist, and I live to hear the scorching 10 minute guitar solo coming out of his amp.  If this is done over on top of some new cool catchy lyrics - great.  Just don\'t get rid of the guitar solos and extended jams!

I\'d bet the farm that they won\'t change a THING about their musical approach.  It\'s SKULL FU&K or die with these animals...

I hope everyone realizes we have NO intention on changing our music.
Some songts are meant to be 3-5 minutes and others 25-45 minutes and I expect that will never change!

Thank god!!!!
