New (old) live ween cd/dvd

ok, this was fucking hard, BUT

white pepper is a 3 way tie:
exactly where I\'m at
flutes of the chi
and one of the best ending to an album ever made: stay forever/falling out/ she\'s your baby
wait, I guess that\'s a six way tie. who cares. fine. f you. that\'s the best I can do with this album, and it was REALLY hard to cut ice castles, pandy fackler, the grobe and stroker ace off that list.

flutes is the song that always gets me at first thought, but the others are SOOOO good! The funny thing is everyones favorite song it seems, bananas and blow, is the one track I\'ll skip over. *meh*

This is great. I\'ve never been agreed with so "passionately" when trying to describe my take on some music. Usually a lost cause. I actually feel kind of strange now. Like I\'ve been caught dancing naked on the kitchen counter singing to a wooden spoon full of gravy.

I\'m already questioning some of my picks of last night for top tunes on each album. That\'s why they\'re so damn good. This thread has put me on a Ween kick again. I can\'t wait to get home from school and pump something Moist.

So go fetch a bottle of rum my friend
And fill up my glass to the rim
I\'m not the man I used to be
Now I\'m one of them.

damn, the hiv on chicago is nasty, but I think I\'d have to go with voodoo lady instead for that nasty jam they get into.

+1

That jam kills. My on-the-fence-Ween-fan friends couldn\'t handle it. They just have no ear for jamming. Their lose really.

I personally like the piano intro on Even If You Don\'t from Live in Chicago. Not saying it\'s my favorite on the album cause that\'s too hard for me to pick.
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

I can\'t believe I missed this entire thread.  ween ownz faces like non-other.

Favorite tune off each album:
Quebec-- Chocolate Town
The Mollusk-- Mutilated Lips (Pink Eye is a close second for personal reasons)
White Pepper-- Back to Basom
Shinola-- Transitions
12 Golden-- Richard Smoker
Chocolate-- Pony/Don\'t Shit where you eat
GodWSatan-- Nan
Cucaracha-- My Own Bare Hands/Blue Balloon
Pod-- Awesome Sound (better on paintin\' the town brown)
Guava-- like a 10 way tie
Friends EP - Hammer Down
Live in Chicago - Johnny on the Spot
Paintin the Town Brown - Marble Tulip

If you are just getting into Ween check out Quebec, White Pepper, Live in Chicago, La Cucaracha.  They are much easier to get into in reverse order, their older material is not as digestable.  Personally I think Paintin\' the Town Brown probably gets the most rotation on my stereo. All request live is also worth checkin out. They have a few quality brown shows on Archive, even one with the Shit Creek Boys worth checkin out.  I got a dude on Ween forum to mail me a bunch of live dvds a month ago and have been in brown heaven since.
