I\'m also disgusted with the observation that hippies are never satisfied with anything in America and complain about everything. If you were busy earning an income you wouldn\'t have this much time to ponder/protest your unhappiness and may actually feel proud of all the innovation and opportunities available in your nation.
There are many sociological challenges in this nation, but the answer isn\'t entitlement to everything. Most schools are excellent or adequate but there are too many children that come from homes/neighborhoods that do not foster an interest in education.
Is the shoddy family structure in the poor neighborhoods the fault of President Bush? The fact that 70% of all inner city babies are born with no father present at home is self-imposed economic inequality and hardship. Maybe the absence of the father leaves children hungry and vulnerable to the elements of urban life.
Single parent families = poverty.
The government is already a freedom subduing monster yet there are still hungry children. Charitable organizations with no connection to the government are the people who run most of the food banks, shelters, college assistance programs and medical research labs. These organizations receive funding from private donors and are more capable of addressing the needs of America.
The government is never in the lead.
