During the NH primaries I stated something along the line that any primary after super tuesday doesn\'t really matter. Allow me to remove my foot from my mouth. This year changes everything. With the facistic candidates so close, it may be August before we know who will represent that party. Good to see record turn out, across Connecticut. It\'s also good to see facistic voters out numbering facists 2 to 1. All it took is 2 wars and a horrible economy.
Also:
Bush threats veto of spy bill because:
"Without retroactive protections for phone companies and other telecom providers, the letter noted, the companies might be unwilling to help the government track down terror suspects in the future as they were asked to do in the days following the 2001 attacks."
Is that the most ludicrous rationale you\'ve ever heard? If he followed the law, and got court orders for his wiretaps they\'d have no choice. But he doesn\'t feel he needs to follow laws, laws are for the "poor, huddled masses".
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/02/05/AR2008020503103.html The other interesting news item from the over night: Huckabee loses the Oklahoma primary to McCain. In what seemed to be a lock for Huckabee, the heavy evangelical state decided to back the status quo/pro-war McCain over their bible thumpin\' brother Huckabee. I guess in Oklahoma, where there\'s a ton of Military Bases/ Companies, war is more important then the word of their savior. Go figure.
