This postseason is the first time I really had the chance to see Dwight Howard.  He is pretty useless on offense unless he has a sure thing dunk or layup.  I expected more of a beast like that.

But a "sure thing" dunk for Dwight Howard covers a pretty wide spectrum of offense. He\'s also got a decent hook shot from 10 feet and in.

He\'s one of the few that made an absolutely correct decision (from a basketball standpoint) to come to the NBA straight out of high school.

What a shitty game, I should have turned it off a long time ago.  Both teams sucking, the Celtics a little less so until the last couple minutes.

Did you at least change your mind about Dwight Howard? 23 points and 22 boards (10 offensive) in an elimination game.

As good as Rondo and Pierce have been, and as surprisingly good as the role players have been, it is very clear that Ray Allen needs to shoot well early for the C-words to be successful.

You know. Not for nothing, but I\'m sick of this fuckin\' shit. I\'m sick of looking at the Houston Rockets. I\'m sick of punk-ass bitch Ron Artest. I\'m sick of Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola hitting every shot. I\'m sick of the gatdamn technicals for sneezing and I\'m sick of listening to Marc Jackson basically say that the Lakers are done.

Now, all this said, I\'m sick of my own team, my beloved Lakers\' half-assed defense and lack of toughness, especially on the road. But they ain\'t on the road today. They in L.A. And everything that happened before don\'t mean shit. It\'s a one-game season. Win this game. Worry about the next series later.

I\'m sick of this fuckin\' shit!

GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the Lakers didn\'t show up until the second quarter...

Fortunately for them, it\'s halftime and the Rockets still haven\'t arrived.

Lakers won by 19 which was totally no surprise.
Onto hosting the West Finals against Denver as I thought they would.

Now for the Magic to keep up the way they played in the 1st half and put the celtics away.
Please?

you got your wish, leith.

the difference between this game and every other celtics game 7 in  the past 2 years is paul pierce not taking charge and leading the team to a win.  8 minutes, who knows what can happen.

The West is pretty tied up under The Lakers but I think the Nuggets will rise up to face The Lakers in the West Finals.

While Orlando/Cleveland would be stellar and seems likely for the East Finals.

i\'m taking some Tums and going to bed.    Celtics gave me heartburn.     What a piss poor performance by the defending champs and now they can\'t even defend their title.  somebody look up the stats on the last time a defending team got bumped out in such a massacre sort of way.  Ugh.  Awful.    At least when the Knicks of the 90s choked, they choked at the actual finals.

Yes, you will.   But I seriously think i will go back to my childhood loyalty of the Knicks after this performance.  And we all know how much the Knicks suck, so that doesn\'t say much.  I feel the worst for my 10 year old cousin, who will have to feel embarrassed to wear his celtics jersey to school now.   Great job on crushing a little boy\'s heart, bastards.

my prediction: CAVS win it all.
