In keeping with the theme of one of the most hideously officiated series in NBA history, the refs should have given commentator Mark Jackson a technical for his use of the word \'Ba-dow\' (if that\'s how it\'s spelled) during yesterday\'s broadcast. I wish it was Jackson who didn\'t show up for Game 4 when unfortunately it was the Lakers.

So a team finally decides to force somebody who isn\'t a future Hall-of-Famer to hit a big shot.. and Glen Davis delivers twice. The Celtics have reclaimed home-court advantage for the rest of the series, and it\'s pretty tough for me to pick against them right now. Celtics in 7, but, with playoff experience behind them, the Magic will join the Bulls in 2009-10 as the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Totally agree.   I think both teams will be ones to look out for next season.     Celtics again, proving people wrong.  Including myself.  When i begin to doubt, they give me a win.  I knew they still had the heart to win this series.   I totally love how as the defending champs, they are still the underdogs.   You also have to love how the celts have a cast of characters, that anyone of that bench can come through in the clutch.

Definitely Celts in 7.

You shouldn\'t expect much from a former Knick.   It\'s not like that team was known for their articulate nature.  Just be glad it isn\'t Ewing or Oakley.

Ray Allen can struggle an entire game, but then turn around and score the shot that counts.  He saved the day with like 1:20 seconds remaining.

Can\'t wait for thursdays game...

 Yeah whatever.

Where the fuck have you been for the rest of this series?

Hiding and taking front runner lessons from Wolfman obviously.

Now that they finally have a lead in this series you come out and tell me to eat a d?

Yeah OK fucktard.

Lakers won by 40 tonight finally showing interest in this Championship Run.

Go Lakers!
Fuck the celtics!

Celtics will get to the East Championship but I do not see them getting past the Cavalier\'s.

Gonna be Kobe vs. James in the Finals.

Who was that knocking down all those 4th quarter shots?  A little narrow to be Rondo... Too tall to be House... Def not Baby... Holy Dog Shit Private Pile! It\'s Stephon Marbury!  Did this guy find his game again?  Is it a fluke? Who cares?  The Celtics have held up far better w/o Garnett than I could have expected.  House- 31pts, Davis- 21 pts + a buzzer beating game winner, Marbury- 12 4thQ comeback points?  They\'ve made it fun.  Heart of a champion. They might not be the favs this year, but not going down without a fight.

it\'s your loss man. i agree that the nba\'s regular season is generally a real bore. but for the last few years, the playoffs have been pretty good. it\'s a new age in the nba right now. there are a lot of good stories and a lot of likable stars. i don\'t think i could have said that for the five years or so after the lockout

maybe if the nets weren\'t terrible, you\'d be a little more interested...

I would agree in most years, but the NBA playoffs are the best that they have been in years, and the 2009 NCAA Tournament was the worst one in recent memory. I\'ll take the Celtics pulling wins out of their ass, LeBron James being unstoppable, Kobe Bryant vs. Shane Battier, and everybody sleeping on the Nuggets instead of one game from the Elite Eight and beyond being decided by fewer than seven points (three possessions).

2009 NCAA was almost a yawn fest.

Boy that was fun. Lakers were up 30 and I still wanted more. And I got it. Anytime a player--in this case Trevor Ariza--steals an inbounds pass and turns it into a reverse lay-up already up 36 points, you know it\'s your night.

Go Lakers!
