congrats on your tickets sky, you\'ll have a blast walking past all the ticketless hippies on your way into the show.

Just some words of wisdom from the ticket market guru:

After Saturday\'s onsale, EVERYONE is gonna hit the secondary market.  Right now roughly $250 per show can get you in to each night.  After Saturday, with everyone having no more hope at face value tickets, the secondary market will blow up and I expect that tickets will start going for $350-$400 a pop as buyers hit the market in large numbers.

If you are on the fence about maybe going secondary market or not, now is probably the best time to get in.  Being just 1 year removed from the gutsiest ticket purchase I will ever make (a Super Bowl ticket 4 months in advance) I just want to share that if you know you want to do it and you can possibly spare the money, just have the guts to do it.  You\'ll be glad you did.  You\'ll have 4.5 fantastic months just to look forward to it, and a lifetime to look back on it afterwards.  And somewhere down the road, you won\'t be thinking about where the $750 went, you\'ll just think about how incredible the shows were.  I\'ll leave you with something I posted in February in the football thread.  (Edited to apply to Phish.)  This helped me get through the anxiety of going through with it, and it was the best decision I ever made.  Even though the unthinkable happened and the Patriots lost the game, it was one of the best times I will ever have.  Even if Phish does the unthinkable and doesn\'t have it, it will be one of the best times you ever have.  You only live once.  Life is too short to miss Phish shows.  If you\'re on the fence, I hope this helps you land on the right side.

"First, look in the mirror, and ask yourself, in all serious honesty, "Am I a Phish fan? Does it really matter to me?" If you look yourself in the eye and answer yes, then you have to do it.  You have to get to these shows. And know this: The more you think about it, the more you\'ll talk yourself out of it.  Don\'t over think it. Just put your fist on the table, call your most key buddy in the world, and get it done. You won\'t be sorry."

Congrats to those who have won already, good luck to everyone on Saturday, and may those of you on the fence land on the right side.

so i feel what you are saying...i really do...i think that you did give some good advice to people...however when i look myself in the mirror i know that i am a real phish fan..who paid 35 bucks to see them in the new haven coliseium the first time and gave them alot of time, energy, money and support...not to mention that i have been lucky enough to see some of the best phish shows ever...but i refuse to drop cash like that....while i have it...it just wouldnt be responsible to spend hundreds of bucks on one ticket...but to each his own and more power to you if you can or want too...will i be super bummed out if i dont get down there...well sure...but i have a whole summer tour to look forward too and save for...but no matter if you can make it or not...the amount of money your willing to spend should not determine if you are a true phan or not....sad but true...many of us super heady lot kids just had to grow up....
maybe the sun will shine today...
the clouds will roll away..
maybe i wont be so afraid..
i will understand that everything has its plan...
either way...

i may be one of the biggest phish fans on here, but i refuse to pay scalped prices for a ticket.  never have, never will.  well, if the jets make the superbowl, maybe i will.

and i will enjoy that $20 beer too when i get there.

but anyway, i worked at it, and i got tickets.  you can do anything if you try hard enough

I\'m hoping the simulcast at least one of the nights.

Movie theater parking lots are still parking lots, and are mostly guarded by mall-cops.

chula vista \'03.  my friends rented a fuckin hummer limo.  $30 a person and we raged in the back the entire way.
it\'s funny, we never brought our cameras into shows.  i have SO MANY lot/hotel room pictures.  \'so this is the hotel we stayed in for vegas\' etc etc.  good times
