I need some reviews goddamnit! Couldn\'t wait to get home from work to read about what happened, and alas, nothing. Just a setlist and some fucking sick pics. Good lord this had to be insane. The surrounding sets look great too, especially set 3.

Wow I\'m jealous. But happy as shit that this is going on at all.

Some comments about Exile from phishhook:

"wow.... so we actually get another set after this."

"well that was the tits"

"TEN OUT OF FUCKING TEN"

"I dont EVER listen to the halloween sets anymore, but that was AWESOME and I can totally see myself re-listening."

"man, that was just incredible. loved every second of that. "we are the Rolling Stones"

"tits on the ritz!"

"beautiful"

"I can\'t wait to hear the next set. After momentum like that it\'s going to be sick!"

"first off, i\'m not that much into phish...
i do have about 100 shows or so, but really a hardcore deadhead (and JGB head)...
but i have been REALLY enjoying this festival. i heard the white album and DSOTM covers and was very underwhelmed and unimpressed. haven\'t heard the other covers but this FUCKIN IMPRESSED THE SHIT out a\'me! how did the other covers compare?"

These comments are great. Apparently set 3 was full of thick sounds, and the Suzy encore (with horns and Sharon vocals) had people cumming all over Indio.

I can\'t wait to hear this shit.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

First of all, I could completely disagree more about the White Album cover and that review totally missed the boat and left off Quadrophenia; 10/31/95 has to be one of my top 3 shows if not the top.  I know Ellis was looking for me to be negative about this, but there is a positive to them playing EOMS; there will most likely be no more RS covers for halloween...

for once we agree yoda, i hate the stones and there is a part of me that is glad i missed this.  on the other hand, i have heard nothing but good things, so im not sure really what to say right now
The lights from Ellis showed a mischevious sparkle
That flashed in his hollowed eye stare...

I don\'t get your comment. So this guy claims he liked the Stones set more than your \'possible all time favorite Phish set\' and you\'re complaining? E... A... D... I\'m excited to listen to this.

My point isn\'t that this wasn\'t a good show, not saying that.  What I\'m saying is that if he\'s going to compare this to other cover album shows, it\'s naive to leave the Quadrophenia show off.  The White Album was good.  Dark Side was a spur of the moment thing, so not much practice, of course it\'s not going to be the best cover album.  I\'m not excited to listen to it, but I will so that I can be fair if it is good...  Don\'t get all bent out of shape because I think the Stones suck the big one...  You probably hate Bruce, so we\'re even...

wow, so glad i didn\'t waste money flying cross country for such a horrible cover album. I though once I heard it I\'d change my mind, but sorry, the stones really are, well, just a horrible band.

no offense diana.

Paul, you\'re not nearly impulsive enough to get this album.

Bent out of shape? Inter-lack-of-tone-to-statements.... If only you knew how passing my comments are when directed towards you.

So far, these tunes, so good. I likes.
