man, these new hampton rumors have me crazy! 12/17/2009 would be exactly ten years to the day from when jill and i first met, at hampton, 12/17/1999. she was sitting in front of me and my buddy and noticed when we started talking about a car with md personalized bbfcfm plates. my buddy had the va bbfcfm plates. anyway, she heard us talking about it, turned around and said, \'that\'s my car!\'. and now, ten years later, we\'re married and have bought a house! so i called the hampton box office and begged for any info so i can get a headstart on a fancy room. i explained why, and while the lady there thought it was a very sweet and cute story, didn\'t have jack to say about whether there was gonna actually be a show...

that is the sweetest thing....

Isn\'t it! :)

So back to the Halloween cover set...  If they covered The Wall, would it be the set from the album or the live set.  The live set includes What Shall We Do Now? and the album does not... I\'ve also been thinking that Alive II is not so much of a stretch... The crowd would eat the make up thing (and would explain the need for all the hours between set 1 and 2)... The album is a series of KISS hits and doesn\'t include Rock and Roll All Night; obvious encore...  Imagine this: You Wanted The Best, Well You Got The Best. The Greatest Band In The World.  PHISH!!!!...

Hopefully the live version where Gilmour shreds. I wanna hear Trey rip a 14 minute Comfortably Numb!
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

That\'d be cool, but the 10 or so versions from The Wall tour that I\'ve heard clock in around 8 minutes, only a minute or so longer than the studio version... Not sure if you\'re thinking of the version on Pulse, but that only clocks in at just under 10 minutes (the band doesn\'t include Waters, it\'s not Floyd)...

These are the ablums that are left:

AC/DC | Back In Black
Black Sabbath | Paranoid
Blind Faith | Blind Faith
Bob Dylan | Blood On the Tracks
Boston | Boston
Brian Eno | Before And After Science
Bruce Springsteen | Born To Run
Chicago | The Chicago Transit Authority
Curtis Mayfield | Superfly Soundtrack
David Bowie | Hunky Dory
David Bowie | Ziggy Stardust
Devo | Freedom of Choice
Elton John | Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Frank Zappa | Apostrophe
Frank Zappa | Hot Rats
Genesis | The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Grateful Dead | American Beauty
Jimi Hendrix | Are You Experienced?
Jimi Hendrix | Electric Ladyland
King Crimson | Larks\' Tongues In Aspic
KISS | Alive II

Led Zeppelin | IV (Zoso)
Metallica | Master Of Puppets
MGMT | Oracular Spectacular
Michael Jackson | Thiller
Miles Davis | A Tribute To Jack Johnson
Minutemen | Double Nickels On The Dime
Modern Lovers | The Modern Lovers
Neil Young | Tonight’s The Night
Nirvana | Nevermind
Pink Floyd | The Wall

Rage Agaist The Machine | Evil Empire

Television | Marquee Moon
The Band | The Band (aka Brown Album)
The Clash | London Calling
The Doors | The Doors
The Police | Ghost In The Machine
Van Halen | Van Halen
Van Morrison | Astral Weeks
Yes | The Yes Album

Aside from what Phish has put out there, I think that it\'d be cool if they covered Floyd\'s - The Man and The Journey:

The Man
Daybreak Pt. 1, Work, Teatime, Afternoon, Doing it, Sleep, Nightmare, Daybreak Pt. 2

The Journey
The Beginning, Beset By The Creatures Of The Deep, The Narrow Way, The Pink Jungle, The Labyrinths Of Auximines, Behold The Temples Of Light, The End Of The Beginning

Not an actual released album, but a conceptual piece that combined music that would later be released on More and Ummagumma:

Daybreak Pt. 1 - Grandchester Meadows
Work - Percussion that including sawing and hammering
Teatime - Tea was actually served on stage
Afternoon - Biding My Time
Doing It - The Grand Vizier\'s Garden Party
Sleep - Quicksilver
Nightmare - Cymboline
Daybreak Pt. 2 - Grandchester Meadows (reprise)
The Beginning - Green Is The Colour
Beset By The Creatures Of The Deep - Careful w/ that Axe, Eugene
The Narrow Way - The Narrow Way Part 3
The Pink Jungle - Pow. R Toc H
The Labyrinths of Auximines - Part of Interstellar Overdrive
Behold the Temple of Light - Part of Ummagumma just before The Narrow Way, Part 2
The End of the Beginning - The Celestial Voices section of A Saucerful of Secrets

Yeah longest I\'ve seen Floyd/Gilmour do it is prob around 10 minutes.

If Phish is jammin it I wanna hear another 4-5 minutes on top of that ;)

Alive II just bit the dust...

I\'d be severely dissapointed if it was any of the following albums:

AC/DC | Back In Black
Boston | Boston
Chicago | The Chicago Transit Authority
Devo | Freedom of Choice
Elton John | Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
MGMT | Oracular Spectacular
Minutemen | Double Nickels On The Dime
Modern Lovers | The Modern Lovers

No, it\'s just a list of choices they have, that I think would suck if they covered...

Gotcha, my computer at work is a dinosaur and the network sucks... anytime I try and load phish.com it takes about 3 hours to load the intro videos all the time so I don\'t bother. When I\'m here I rely on .info for the updates!
