Well, amidst all this chatter, I just thought I\'d take some time to say that I am very pleased with Joy based on my handful of listens. Favorite songs are Stealing Time, Joy, Ocelot, Twenty Years Later.

And for the record, my favorite Splits are 8-14-93, 8-15-98, and 6-14-00. Have not been impressed with any of the post-reunion Splits, though I haven\'t heard the Red Rocks one.

haha, the point I was making was that no one ever talks on this board about any of the classical shows and then this one hit and everyone was. I still have not listened to the entire new york show but even from what I have heard i do agree that it blows pretty much everything prior out of the water. Mad I had a race that sunday morning, otherwise I would have been there to see it.

Classic back stepping there.  People on this board either bitch about everything or only speak of the epic.  In this case, its the latter and why it was never brought up before I cannot say.  Ive always had a connection with the orchestral stuff, and this Carnegie thing is the culmination of 5 or 6 years of Trey working shit out and getting it RIGHT.  He said he wants to turn this thing into a touring act, if that happens fucking forget about it.

I\'ll certainly be there. Shit is magical.

Is that a good "fucking forget about it" or a bad one?

Are there any good sources for the show saturday?
Are there any plans (phish) to release it?

Anyone attend or hear any of Gordon\'s Get Bassed?

Know JKing mentioned he went to a show. More info?

Or is it basic Gordon side-project?
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

its the same lineup from his tour earlier this year - murawski on guitar and folks i\'ve not heard of elsewhere on keys, drums and percussion. drummer is quite good! the setlists have been mainly stuff from green sparrow, a couple new songs from mike, scott and the keys player and covers (including 15 steps or something by radiohead - and takin\' it to the streets by the doobie brothers). the playing has been great. they usually take a couple songs to get really warmed up, then it just flows! all of the shows are up on bt.etree so far and while there\'s not a ton of variation, they are trying to not repeat anything from one night to the next. if i get home early enough and think about it in time, i\'ll post the show i saw mp3 stylie for ya!

oh, and tyzak - look on the last page of the legal download thread for the best pull of the carnegie hall show in tagged mp3 format. everything was stealthed, so none of the pulls are great, but this one is the best. trey\'s not up as much as he is normally (so he fits ni with the orchestra better) and the crowd gets loud when the clap, but otherwise it sounds pretty good!

Are there policies at the venues against taping the orchestral shows?
