the whole cliff bar thing has a some relevance, when trey was all fucked up, thats all he ate for like a year.  it may seem corny or whatever, but theres truth to it.  I can\'t wait for like 6 months down the road when all you fucktards come around and stop being so overly critical. this is a great album, with some great songs

You know it. Off the top of my head here are two of my personal favorites:

1992-04-16 Anaconda Theater: (this Melt features probably the most savage Trey ever. Like WTF style. This whole show and the next 3 nights are *must haves* for any Phish fan who wants to be ser at all... the Mikes Groove from 1992-04-19 is also the most intense Weekapaug ever... Cactus pwns the shit out of this)

1994-06-11 Red Rocks: (sick sick version and then towards the end Trey\'s guitar sounds like he\'s straight up droppin bombs out of an airplane)

Start there. I don\'t remember a lot of the other dates exactly off the top of my head.

Oh yeah and if you like teh darkness like me you\'ll probably fucking love these Stash\'s:

1992-04-17 Warfield Theater: (like I said grab all of 1992-04-16, 17, 18, & 19)

1994-05-19 Hult Center: It\'s one of the best Stash ever, \'nuff said. Get the show its fire.

1994-06-22 aka Live Phish 10: Its a Live Phish release for a damn good reason.

there\'s also the 11/14/95 Set II: Maze, Gumbo, Stash -> Manteca -> Stash -> Dog Faced Boy -> Stash, Strange Design, You Enjoy Myself -> Immigrant Song Jam -> You Enjoy Myself
... which doesn\'t suck.

and if you like dark, early phish, grab 11/22/94. i don\'t usually rave about funky bitch jams, but this only starts at the bitch. it goes all kinds of places by the end!! think 12/29/94 bowie!

all i gotta say is, orchestral trey is probably the most pleasing thing my ears have ever experienced.  it is pure musical bliss, so much that on three different occasions the chills i felt were so remarkable it brought tears to my eyes.  When this happens next, I will do everything in my power to be there.  Absolutely phenomonal

I find all of this orchestral talk as trey has already done a couple of shows. I\'ve had the tennessee show where he first performed time turns elastic for a while now, but no one cared about it back then. all of a sudden he plays nyc and it\'s some crazy new cool thing. noobs.

are you kidding me paul????  That stuff was good, but how are you gonna compare that to what this is?  This is the new and improved trey working with the greatest orchestra in the world in one of the most historic venues in the world.  You should know better.  It takes more than a bunch of people on stage to make a show special.  Now who\'s the noob???

and if you wanna measure dicks, ive had seis de mayo and the roo 04 performance on disk for five years.  Those were experiments into the world of classical music.  This is the finished product.  Get a clue brah

Can\'t say I dug Trey\'s earlier classical ventures quite as much as this.

Smoke better **** Gordo.

I get it tho, Phish is diverse and there\'s something for everyone. Except all the people who don\'t like Phish at all who are probably cops or retarded. I like the dark / creepy side of Phish jams and this Melt stood out in contrast to me to the relatively upbeat, clean, standard-issue major-key jams that had been dominating most of the tour.

I love dark Phish. I can\'t stand this Melt. That\'s all. It sounds fUcT. Just because it was a deviation from the tour norm does not make it a positive stand out for me. I think it sucks. However, the 4-16-92 Melt is thaaa focking HEAT!! I agree with you there Tuna Melt.

Great call on the Tuna Melt, Vassillios. It will most coitanly stick.

Yeah and this Trey NY orchestra shit is unbelievable.
