Every night I am reminded why I love this band and why there is no better sport than Phishing.

you said it!

my only regret is that i stayed wayyyy in the back of the lawn the whole show. don\'t know why i didn\'t move down; wasn\'t really so compelled to wander at the time. but the sound is obviously what suffered being so far back. i needed it cranked up like at least 10 times as loud.

I spoke to an old school Phish fan who I know and places this in his top 10 of all time.

This show was truly amazing. First set was choppy in the sense they stopped after every song. You knew that 2nd set was going to be the heat.

No disappointment to be had. For me the Piper got the show to escalate to the highest part of the atmosphere.

1st set highlights were the Forbin>Mockingbird and the Character Zero.

2nd set was the entire set but really the Ghost > Psycho Killer > Catapult > Icculus > YEM was the moment I realized that it was special.

Did anyone see the shooting star during the 2nd set? Might have been Icculus.

Thanks to SlimPickens for putting the "we are getting a ser cover" vibe out there last night.

Every night I am reminded why I love this band and why there is no better sport than Phishing.

I said it last night when it was happening that this show was an instant classic.

Glad to see others did too.

Jamtopia - Hartford Review

Mr. Miner - Hartford Comes Alive

Mr. Miner\'s review is great. While watching the PYITE vid on jamtopia, I kept thinking how cool it was that the outdoor show started after sunset. Man, y\'all are very lucky to have been a part of 8.14.09. Special shite. Glad it happened in so many of your backyards.

They\'re gonna pull some crazy shit out of the hat tonight. Enjoy freaks!

SPAC \'n\' SPAN!!!!!!!!!!!I saw Great Kate= bfam! Wolfie is sleeping on the porch. lol.

It was a hot, long walking day, but soooo worth it all. We jammed out on drums, danced, and chatted with old skool phriends. I tried to mention the breakfast whenever possible!

Btw- there were so many ppl looking for tix; some were paying $200..I got one during the last 5 minutes before gates opened, during the downpour, for $2 above face..What a miracle! And yet again, another gracious blessing stubdown up to the 6th row was amazing for the last 3 tunes!

Fave musician of the night. Fishman on vocals! lol ;oP~ I enjoyed Antelope, Jiboo, a  few new tunes, and Hailey\'s Comet! Barber shop quartet vocals are nice as well. Sick jamming, but I don\'t recall an extended drum solo. Love ya Adrian! ;o)

last night was very good, but hartford takes it. Crazy storm on the way into the venue.....pretty much sucked and turned the place into a giant mud pit. The balcony is the best place to see phish every.

^^ well hello there new friend! so random that you were next to us!

SPAC is a beautiful venue...but if you dont have seats you cant see...i thought thatw as a big summer...plus you couldnt really get down the hill cause it was a giant mud pit...overall i thought the show was good...harpua bust out...loved it...but they played alot of the same stuff i saw at darien lake and i think after hartford...they just couldnt top it...but dont get me wrong...i was doing the moma dance like no other....but geting home and 5 am and to work by 9:30...not a good look....
maybe the sun will shine today...
the clouds will roll away..
maybe i wont be so afraid..
i will understand that everything has its plan...
either way...

I didn\'t see it but everyone around me did. everyone started yelling and going crazy even more after they saw it. I saw one sitting in the lot afterwards though, so I was happy.

Two Kaity Perry tunes? :wtf2: First set looks like the tits, second looks up & down. Nice to see Harpua.

You saved my show last night more than you could ever know. The magic water bottle in your pocket was the life line I need. Hydrate.

Being in the balcony before the rain started was the key to me having so much fun last night.

SPAC was a lot of fun and it was great to get a few special bust outs. Llama could have been stretched but after 3 days of begging for it, it finally happened. First set was the biz while the 2nd just closed my summer vacation.

Thanks to everyone who made this weekend so special and one of the best Phish runs I have experienced. Thanks to those who I never saw either. You gave me motivation to get to the next show.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

I got like 2 rows behind Dave#s @ SPAC ... didn\'t pay a dime either... section A mofos hahaha

Also would like to mention that I called the Llama starter last night and Halley\'s Comet.

Hartford was obviously a gem but I said the only way SPAC could equal it is if they jam their asses off and Trey is totally on fire..... he took out the old Languedoc guitar for the occasion and played like it was 1998..... total fire. And by far the closest I\'ve ever been to the band.

Hartford:
Epic Factor 10
Fun Factor 10
Skillz Factor 7.5

Spac:
Epic Factor 9
Fun Factor 10
Skills Factor 9

that\'s whats up

Indeed, Friday night was just the appetizer. Very happy I sold my Darien Lake and SPAC tix for Camp Barefoot.
