my choice for what i would want would be (within reason):

set 1 open: runaway jim
set 1 close: mango song
set 2 open: maze
set 2 close: foam
encore: harry hood (although this is my favorite phish song, i really dislike EVERY post hiatus version of it.  regardless, it would still be a great way to end the first night)

I think that this merrits its own thread since it is no longer hypothetical.
[I guess I was wrong]

I think they should play Sleeping Monkey at some point during the weekend.

I feel a Tweezer or YEM opener. This is there first time playing in a long time, they\'re gonna hit it hard with the first song.

I also wouldn\'t mind a PYITE, Wilson, Chalkdust, DWD,  or SOAM to open.

And a Fishman Great Gig in the sky>Purple rain would make a great encore. Too bad we\'re not seeing early 90s Phish here... I have the feeling I\'m going to be let down with the setlist choices.

May have been addressed previously in the thread but
Don\'t you think the boys should be lining up shows in Newport News, VA for some aftershows?
Better yet.. let\'s start the "Aftershow" tour and set one up in every market they tour in!!

Personally, I hope they do not play YEM the entire weekend.

after that quote they have to play it.

all three nights.

That they should.

They should also use their new connections to get some "official" post-Phish shows.

Anyways, Phish is only coming back to play Fluffhead.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

they\'ll most likely start with something relatively easy and groovy to get warmed up... a pyite or something. i\'d be stunned if they came out of the gate with something highly composed... i\'ll be fine being wrong if i am, but that\'s how i\'d figure they\'d start off.

they should be in the lot. there are no other venues nearby and and few folks are gonna want to drive very much, considering you can go ahead and assume a nazi-like police presence on the roads that weekend. whatever they decide to do, the decision should be made as quickly as possible, as every other smaller band that can capitalize on this is gonna try. i already know of two other bands that are trying to get booked/a place to gig down there today...

the only real composed section is landlady, which isn\'t really that tough. i\'m just thinking of all the long, drawn out, slow-funk versions where the intro is five minutes long by itself....

yeah, i\'m thinking about all the hits, both at the beginning and the end of the song. i\'ve heard some pretty trainwrecked PYITEs.
