Did ya see that PETA wanted Phish to change their name to Sea Kitten.

Just for one weekend... to bring attention to the plight of the "intelligent sensitive" chicken of the sea.

So, I was a little premature in posting stats when the first leg of the tour had about 3 shows left.  So here are the stats for the first leg of the tour...

- 143 individual songs played
- 53 songs played once (approx. 37%)
- 36 songs played twice (approx. 25%)
- 31 songs played three times (approx. 22%)
- 14 songs played four times (approx. 10%)
- 6 songs played five times (approx. 4%)
- 3 songs played six times (appox. 2%)

- Songs played 5 times include: Divided Sky, Down With Disease, Harry Hood, Ocelot, Wolfman\'s Brother & YEM.
- Songs played 6 times include: Character Zero, Kill Devil Falls & Possum
- Only three songs were played back-to-back: Tube (6/7/09 & 6/9/09), Harry Hood (6/10/09 & 6/12/09) & Character Zero (6/14/09 & 6/16/09).

A special weekend. Each night was totally different and successful. IMO--Saturday was the best musically, Trey was on fire; Friday was the most memorable show because of the storms, 2nd set wet dance party, and my first Fluffhead; Sunday had an absolute killer first set, followed by a generally boring 2nd set.

There were tons of highlights, but I remember being blown away by Antelope\'s jam. I\'m excited to listen back. And I can\'t get Avenu out of my goddamn head!

Overall just a fucking awesome time.

Oh yeah, anyone need tix for Saturday or Sunday? I have a few extras.... Couldn\'t even give that shit away.

you mean play a mediocre cover album and then do dark side the next night of the tour?

Thanks for all the links! Deer Creek seems to be the best of leg 1 (narrowly edging out Knoxville).

Unless they\'re playing a different venue, I don\'t think this is true. http://www.unlvtickets.com/eventInfo/spe/165/2009-pbr-world-finals

My guess would be the Mandalay Bay Event Center if this rumor is "true"...

What do I need to download in order to open the megaupload files on my mac? The show downloaded successfully but I can\'t open it.
