Indeed. Riker\'s Mailbox is actually Buffalo Bill, which was recorded for Hoist by not included (thank christ), played backwards at fast speed. Hence, why you seemingly hear them say "O-La-Ffub" over and over. So in many ways, like many of the other songs recently mentioned, it\'s not actually a proper Phish song, but really just a track.

Well they say you learn something everyday! and there it is... I can\'t say that I ever researched or listened to it too closely.  Hoist was the first Phish album I ever bought at my ripe old age of 14 in the winter of 94-95.  Funny how you can remember such details sometimes... and completely forget other things!
Where to next?

I\'ve often joked that if I ever get old and senile, I probably won\'t remember my name, but will be able to accurately recite Phish setlists and tidbits, and of course, numerous info related to sports.

Id go for saw it again or demand. Im sending the message through STB to big red himself and i guarentee on of them at alpine.
The lights from Ellis showed a mischevious sparkle
That flashed in his hollowed eye stare...

Bruce refered to Steven Van Zandt as Silvio a few times during their set. Page and Bruce both seemed to have a really excellent time during the three songs.
