just a few words before i step out for knoxville > roo...

i love this band, and i am so happy they are back. just listened to set 1 of camden, and i\'m really kicking myself for not going. goosebumps all over the place. wow.

i saw every show up to that point, and thought each night was a slight step up from the last, up until mansfield. it wasn\'t a bad show, it just didn\'t do a lot for me after the 3 JB shows.

and a quick word about flubs: i really almost give the band a free pass for 2009. i can live with trey forgetting the words, etc. to songs that haven\'t been played for 5+ years. i know in my mind that these flubs are because of rustiness, not because trey is strung out, so i accept that and know that they will get tighter the more they play. and they\'re just here and there - overall, playing has been VERY solid.

hitting the road at midnight tonight. looking forward to knoxville. almost seems like we\'re stopping by to say hi to phish on our way to bonnaroo. no idea what to expect from the band at a festival that isn\'t theirs, but i\'m sure as hell looking forward to it.

i\'ve taken a ton of video, and will do more, but none of it is gonna be touched until i get back. until then, here\'s the pics i\'ve taken so far (sans mansfield):

JB1:

JB2:

also left the camera in the car for JB3 because it was pouring and i wanted to fully enjoy my 100th show.

see yas.

I agree.

If I needed to complain about something it will be that they are having too much fun on stage.

Lengthwise!

I\'d sell my first born for a Phish ticket.

Listening to the second set of Camden and damn it is fine. Sugar Shack is a cool tune for me.

thought trey would write a tune about his sister who recently passed , Joy sounds like it could be it. unless tom wrote the lyrics. thought it was okay..not big on chorus and we were kind of makin jokes about it afterwards on the way home, but if it could become like an All of these dreams, where they just seem to love playing it. damn camden/mansfield were pretty stellar

I have to listen to the Camden encore today before I comment on Joy.

Unfortunately, for me, I am so biased with Phish that I have hardly ever been disappointed by them. I learned long ago to keep my feelings to myself at shows because you never know when the person next to you might be hearing there favorite song.

If I walk out of a Phish show having fun, that is all that really matters to me.

I\'m not sure I like Time Turns Elastic.  It takes so long to build up to the ending.  Ocelot is okay.  Then again, I\'ve only listened to 5/31; need to listen to more shows.

IMO, TTE is all about the last 5-6 minutes.

All the new songs really need time to mature and grow because some of them seem like they are not fully developed. Interested to hear the studio versions of most of these songs.
