only went to jones beach day 3 and mansfield, but i think the third show at jones beach was def the sickest night thus far. however camden last night looks pretty good, im gonna have to listen to it.

I must say cops were f-in rediculous at both venues, little disheartening.

great phish though, almost forgot how much i love that band

Seriously if I had to pick 2 totally dickish venues they be close to the top of my list.

Greatwoods has historically been unkind and Jones Beach is in a state park which gives those jack booted assholes even more liberty to screw with you.

Cops are def being dick. Chill kids next to us had some jello shots in a cooler and I had some and they were delicious, meanwhile lifting my spirits. Turns out they\'re from pretty close to my digs and I know the guy from playing in different jammy bands around here. Anyway, up come the cops.

Kids ended up cuffed, searched, car searched, found like a tiny bit of nugget and threatened to send them to jail "any second" for like 20 minutes before finally just stealing their jello shots and leaving them alone.

My other friend had a friend who didn\'t get a ticket and cops said you had to chill at your car during the show. So kid gets bored and busts out a doobie, no doubt, and cops apparently just roll by but take down the license plate #.

On the way out my buddy gets his car raided by 6 cops all at once, full search, cuffed.... he had no real drugs besides a few empty **** baggies but he did have a fair amount of cash, earned on the fair and square by the way. The cops spent half an hour chewing him out, insulting him, and trying to figure out some way to fuck this kid over and take his money.

I dunno, seemed like some shady powertrippin\' going on to me. Phish lot is sketch this year, and it\'s not because of the fans.

Best three days of fun. Nothing but magic from Friday night\'s Boogie On Reggae Women to Tweezer Reprise on Sunday night. Each show was better than the last.

I think that after all the press about all of the arrests at hampton, cops nation wide are on a trip to see how many phishheads they can bust and how much of a dick they can be.

I have nothing against a society based of the rule of law. Too bad there aren\'t enough voting phish-fans in a given community to elect legislators that will change the laws so the cops can\'t be dicks anymore.

FYI: If you hate cops, its most likely because you hate the laws they enforce the obivous solution is to change the laws.

it has begun to change out in the northeast.  MOST police departments will not take you if you only have a HS diploma.  They want a degree....sometimes....even a masters.  it depends where in the northeast you are.

Sometimes i really despise all the bitching about cops.  If you are doing something illegal, don\'t get caught.  Be more slick about it.  If you get arrested for doing something illegal, guess what, you broke the law.  Sometimes you will have a dick arrest you, its the luck of the draw.  And sometimes you will have a really understanding guy if you are CALM AND RESPECTFUL that will cut you some slack.   Remember, they aren\'t on a power trip, they ARE the authority.  They can arrest you for mouthing off to them and giving them a hard time.   It\'s called resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer, and a multiple of other names.  

Do they come into your job giving you a hard time?  No.  Think about it that way.  They are just doing their jobs.   Sorry for all those bad experiences you all seem to have, witness, and read about it.  But its kind of funny to me that no one has figured out, if you avoid the police, they will avoid you.  They don\'t come looking for you unless you are having a giant flag that says look at me, i have drugs, i am using them, i have alcohol out in the open.   All i am saying is be smart.   And remember, those same dicks are the same people you will run crying to when you have to dial 911 because someone stole your car, someone robbed your house, or even worse.

With that said, the narc enjoyed his first phish show on saturday......
