i\'m a little irked, but because of the bullshit they put people through at coventry. people put up with a literally shit-filled weekend just because it was the final chance to see their favorite band. and now, 4 years later, its back on. seems kinda rude to those that endured coventry.

that said, i\'ve never missed a minute of phampton and don\'t plan on starting now. now, if only the breakfast would play south of philly....

which is why I never bothered with coverntry.  actually, hate all you want, I never saw a post hiatus show. I was busy checking out so many other great bands, and I didn\'t want to ruin the great memories I had of them with a mediocre post show. now however, I\'m psyched as hell to see them again. :hehehe:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

I\'m sorry. I\'m so happy.

I know they pulled some bullshit, and I know I have posted 10000000 times about an end being an end, and not starting again.

I was completely convienced of this myself, and I am still am. Had they not returned, I would not have complained. I found finiality in it.

That doesn\'t mean I can\'t rejoice in this.

...Wow, that sounded a little over the top.

i totally did the mailorder     like a giddy 15 year old

Best thing about pre-internet tickets sales about Phish. Nothing like sending in mail orders and waiting anxiously. Love the entire process.

I would love to go to a show or two, and I\'m happy for all of you that are going, but am I the only one who is irked just a little by this?

Maybe I\'m just jaded, but I always feel like somebody in the band must be running out of money when something like happens. Hopefully they are good enough to not tarnish their legacy.

I am a little irked because Trey should have just kept his mouth shut 3 years ago.

However, Phish is not doing it for the money, they are well funded.

I hear ya. It is kinda bogus.

This can either work or completely backfire on the band and scene.

I am positive it will work but I assure you that there will be 10x the amount of post-retirement newbs then there was post-hiatus newbs. If Phish was trying to get away from the party atmosphere and it all being about the party, I don\'t see it happening.

I agree. It can be completely sloppy shit  yet, it is Phish and it will probably be incredible.

I expect a summer tour blow out.

There are only 13,800 seats available for probably 120,000 people.

1) Most will not get lottery tickets
2) Tickets will sell out in aprox. 1 minute
3) This run needs to be in the theater.

I saw the brooklyn show in a theatre...it wasn\'t that bad.

There was a small "lot scene" at the very edge of the upper-deck of the movie theatres parking lot.

Also, we were "all" about 200 or so hanging out in front of the theatre until they let us in. More than one soccer mon drove up, thinking to drop their kid off at the movies, then drove off.

I would love to see the Breakfast start trying to book some late-night shows around wherever Phish plays.  At this point this would be the best way to get some new fans.
