Brian Wilson performs That Lucky Old Sun in Montclair, NJ on 11/23/08

11/23 at the Welmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ.  The place seats about 800, so it should be a nice intimate show.  He\'s performing his hits and That Lucky Old Sun.

Anyone interested?

this isn\'t on your list of shows to go to booz?

I mean the man rose from the grave to play this show for you.

Are you serious?  The man may not be a jam-band legend, but most rock music has either been influenced by The Beatles or The Beach Boys and HE WAS The Beach Boys.

Ahh, yes, that is where the confusion lies. Dennis is the one I was thinking of.

Fair enough.

Smile, you say, check into it.

Brian Wilson performed at the Stand Up For A Cure benefit on July 11 but his performance didn`t sit well with his fan base.

Posting at his official website, the fans complained of poor seating arrangements, a cut-down band and poor song choice. They questioned the 75-minute set and the lack of Beach Boys and rarities.

He might be better off going back in the grave. It probably smells better than NJ too.

This was a benefit show, so I\'m sure the time slot was not that of a full show.  He offered a full refund for those that were not happy with the show and he performed a free show in brooklyn only says after that.  The guy is past his prime.  What more could he do to accomodate people.

If Jerry came back from the grave people would be drooling over whatever he played, even if it sounded like shit (and I\'m a fan...just trying to make a point).
