i wanna start off by saying that i was on a stupid wilco kick for god knows how long.
when the phish rumors started i went on a phish kick.just listening to shows and all the albums constantly.
then someone turned me onto dr.dog.
i literally CAN NOT get enough of this band.the newest album, fate, has been on the CONSTANT ROTATION for a good month and a half.i probably listen to the album 50times a week, often times back to back to back.
they are like a mix between the beatles with the beachboys.some cool psychedelic stuff happenin.killer melodies.i seriously sing the songs over and over in my head.
theyre from philadelphia and have 2 other albums which are also ser,but the one i uploaded will be loved by everyone who listens to it,guaranteed.
i turned on a handful of friends to it and everyone loves it.
im gonna check them out at the middle east next month and im stoked about it.
please, grab this album.listen to it.listen to it again.love it.if you like it,buy some stuff from them.thank me later.

Freddie, I cannot thank you enough for turning me onto these guys.  I literally listen to this album 3 times per day.  It is absolutely amazing.  Beatles, yes.  Beach Boys, yes.  But what you haven\'t mentioned is The Band.  There are definitley similiarities here.  I fuckin\' love this band.  They are absolutely amazing.

When I look back, on what I done, \'bout a hundred years from now. I\'m gonna cry myself to sleep at night.  when someone shows me how.

freddie, honestly you have the best taste in music of anyone I know.  Please start a thread that tells me what you\'re listening to on a minute by minute basis.

i\'m so glad you made this thread freddy... i was actually thinking about making one earlier this week, but wasn\'t sure how their music would be recieved by the bfam.  having that said:

this has been my obsession for the past year.

and while i love fate.. i think that We All Belong is a better album.  but both are my top 2 all time played albums ever.

constantly in my car cd player and on repeat.

and just to add to the list... i think they def have beatles, band, and beach boy influences (especially the vocal harmonies) but what i also hear is a lot of Bowie.  Yes, Ziggy Stardust mixed with Sgt. Pepper meets Music from Big Pink is the best way to describe these kids.

i went on a little phish kick recently too btw.  Its pretty neat after not listening to it in 3 or 4 years.  In a nostalgic kinda way. I\'ll give doctor diggy another shot though.  Sidenote- have you listened to the recommendation i posted in the other thread wah? its pretty epic.

Thanks for the link Brah Wah, its always nice discovering new music.  While searchin itunes I found a band Fleet Foxes also, might be worth a listen as well.

Folks if you love Fate as much as I do (and Freddy of course) You must get the last disc "We all Belong" It is the disc that turned me completely. I like it better than fate! I\'ve known this band for sometime but their last few efforts have been nothing short of flawless!!
