Seriously CJ, try and learn something. Read a book. Don\'t waste your time there.

Plus, study is awesome. Think when you\'re working an 8 hour day you\'re going to get 45 minute breaks?

You might if you have a really incredible job. If you want one of those, quit bitching and make some use of your time in school.

exactly....i work and go to grad school...i would kill for a 45 minute break

Well, all I\'m saying is that I want to look back and say that I did I the best I could while I was stuck in this place. Had as much fun as I could while I was stuck in this place. Played as hard as I could while I was stuck in this place... Dogged as many girls as I could while I was stuck in this place...

You should really try freewriting or journaling during that time.  You are going through a really huge transition with the loss your teacher/friend.  Maybe putting that into words, you can also find a way to express yourself with your free time, while doing something creative.

its how i got through all my study periods as a teen.  I\'d find a really nice place on campus and journal my heart out.

As a decent student athlete I was "allowed" to basically do whatever I wanted during study halls. Although I did have 1 teacher who would give me a hard time but I generally ignored her and if she gave me detentions or whatever they got "taken care of"

hahahaha. It was nice to get special treatment in those days. Use to really piss people off. Funny I never asked for special treatment but for whatever reasons people were willing to sometimes see "my side of the argument" ;)

dont LEAVE college

seriously guys lets think about this:

A Day in the Life of a corporate bum:

5:30am - 6:00am Get up, shower, have coffee, leave
6:00am - 7:00am Sit in traffic
7:00am - 6:00pm Sit in a cube
6:pm - 7:00pm Sit in traffic
7:00 - 9:00pm - Evening recreational activites
9:00 - 11:00 - relaxx...
11:00pm = 5:30am sleep
repeat until you are 75.

A Day in the Life of a college student

10am - wake up, play video games
11 - grab lunch on the way to class
11-5 (depending on the day of the week/lab schedual, though normall 12-2 TR, and 1-3MWF)
 SIT IN CLASS
4-6: Relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx~~~~~~ and play video games

6-10: Think about, and maybe do, homework, or eat dinner

10-4: More relaxing, maybe some drinking, and video games
Apartheid: A policy of segregation and political and economic discrimination.

I was thinking more of salary wise.    I hate to say.  But money makes the world go round.

College graduate (with or without masters, preferably with) can make $60,000 and up a year.

A non-college graduate (which includes myself) can only peak at maybe $50,000 a year if they are lucky.  I mean, really lucky.  Majority of us waver around the $30 K mark.  In this day and age, not really enough to live on.

While this is true for many, particularly service workers, some exceptions could include electricians, plumbers (other skilled trade peeps) that can command much higher salaries than college grads.  My friend\'s dad is an electrician who makes well above the 6-digit mark; they even have a weekend house in the Sierra.  The point is to acquire some actual skills, whether or not you go to college.  You can go to college, major in sociology (one of my pet peeve majors for its worthlessness) and have as little employable skill as a Dunkin Donut worker.

I hear ya CJ. I pretty much hated school my whole life. It always seemed so stupid with all the stupid rules / and homework and shit. But I guess you should just try and get through it while learning as much as you can, finding out what interests you, kickin it with your friends, and hookin up with mad hotties. Good luck broseph.
