I noticed on the Webster Theater home page that there are 3 bands playing before PB.... anyone know what the plan is for PB?  1 long set?  2 Sets?  What time do they have to cut off at this place?

I\'m hoping for the same... the reason I ask is because I remember times at Toad\'s when 3 or 4 opening bands would translate into time for only 1 set of PB before cut-off....

We may all be treated to a * first time played,or heard at this one.. cant wait. Son of Simpleton would be a good one to end with. i think its been a while?!?

I think the last "local" Son Of Simpleton was at the last Webster show (02/14/03).  I don\'t really recall the setlists from the tour, though.

And not that I\'m ever not in the mood for it, I\'ve been particularly stuck on "Rufus" lately.

I\'d also like to hear an epic jam (think "No Quarter" from the last Living Room show).  "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" comes to mind... but that\'s just because I\'m listening to it right now.

OK, so I lied.  The last local (New England, anyway) "Son of Simpleton" was:
February 28th, 2003 - Dibden Theatre; Johnson State College; Johnson, VT.

They also played it in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Aspen, Colorado in April... but I assume you all missed those shows.

CT cut-off time?
« Reply #12 on: May 29, 2003, 07:33:40 am »
OK, according to the PB e-mail I got last night, they go on @ 11pm.  What is the cut-off time in CT??  I can\'t remember if it\'s 12am on weekdays and 1am on weekends or 1am on weekdays & 2am on weekends... if cut-off is @ 1am, looks like we will have one long set.....

This is sure to be a single set.  The positive side is that they do tend to stick to the schedule at the Webster so PB should get their allotment.  We could always kidnap a couple of the performers from the first couple bands or just pull their plug wires or something....
