Hillarious...that being said, please tell me that Pitch was just being Pitch.  I can\'t say that I\'ve actually stopped to listen to a Culture Club tune since it was part of the Totally 80\'s infommercial that was run at 3:00 AM on public television.  To me, CC sucks, but to each is own.

So you\'re saying that you are giving him props for getting kids to dress like something out of the back pages of the Villiage Voice?  Personally, I thought that most of the 80\'s music and fashion sucked.

I pretty much have no use for the 80s except for a selection portion of it\'s rock music; fashion during that time period stunk!

I know you\'re probably kidding but if that is what you really think about the man I suggest reading about his life.

He got involved in many many political shit storms. Was a huge advocate for Africa and the rights of Africans. He helped to stop violence / civil war in Jamaica. He brought attention to many issues of the day including Apartheid (before it was popular etc)

Not to mention his music makes Culture Club look stupid. "Do you really want to hurt me" up against Small Axe, Duppy Conqueror, Guava Jelly, Hurting Inside and the list goes on and on.

Karma Chameleon ? Seriously ? against "One Love", "Rat Race", "Johnny Was"

Whoever was arguing for CC needs to have their head examined. And maybe turn in their MAN card. :)

My only regret is that considering this was at a Radiohead show, I can\'t believe I didn\'t make the whole Karma Chameleon-Karma Police association.

But anyway, on to our next debate. Who\'s better: Bob Dylan or Ratt.
