Recently I have noticed that when gmail puts ads next to my inbox for these alerts they think I am a hockey fan because of palin.

I will be the first to admit that hockey needs a much better national PR campaign, but I don\'t think that palin is it.

After one weekend of hockey:

Rangers 2-0
Penquins 1-1
Senators 1-1
Lighting 0-2

I put the pens above the sens because they are the defending champs, but man, danny heatly was on fire.

for those away from TVs during the season you can usually find your teams games online at justin.tv

Rangers = http://justin.tv/pkcable

Also the NHL network will be carrying Hockey Night In Canada all season. So they will be showing 1 or 2 games every Saturday night throughout the year.

But TSN now has the Hockey Night Theme song, so you\'ll have to tune in for the wednesday evening games for that :(

Went to my first hockey game of the season (minor league but whatever) and remembered how much I love it.

Fucking pyched for tonight, though the match-ups will suck and I am somewhat dreading the "live, on ice preformance" by Def Leopord"

Red Wings over Leafs (5-1)
{In a battle of best vs. worst}

Bruins over Avalance (3-2)
{In a battle of medocre}

Def Leopard sucked.

The coeverage for the Wings/Leafs game was so pro-Detriot it wasn\'t even funny.

GO LEAFS GO!

I don\'t like it when the Bruins give up any more than 2 or 3 goals. That is not a winning formula.

Great win for the Bruins last night tho. I managed to stay awake to see the game winner. I was down on them early as I thought they looked slow and were making a lot of mental errors. But they buried the puck in the net and that made me feel better.

The young guys looked pretty good as well. I was sporting my Bourque jersey last night for the game :)

Looking forward to tonights Ranger v. Chicago game.

rumor has it Gaborik wants out of Minnesota. Several teams interested etc.
