You know what\'s really sad about this?  I will be in Storrs Friday for work.  Unlikely I can stick around for a late night Weird Beards show, however.

I\'m still trying to figure out if I can squeeze in a trip to Ted\'s--is it even still there?--for old times sake.

Ya never know...  The way it used to work (20-some-odd years ago), was to blow off that afternoon class and head to Ted\'s around 2pm.  After a few Dead Kennedys "Too Drunk..." on the jukebox, they were turning the lights on and yelling for last call.

My, how time flies!

good stuff...as per usual. only stuck around for the first set, but i was able to catch most of alexi\'s set (walked in during \'happiness is a warm gun,\' which was awesome) and the mini shrine reunion. hopefully they will schedule a show for a show a little further west (i thought i heard rumors of a show at cafe 9) so that i can rage a show (and afterparty) properly. really enjoyed \'superguy\' (especially the drums :)).
