I find myself looking for something constructive to engage in during the free time that I have.  I was wondering if anyone has any interesting hobbies that they can suggest (besides lurking dot info).

Thanks!
This isn\'t who it would be if it wasn\'t who it is.

I don\'t know what kind of shape you\'re in, or how old you are but any kind of  excercise is a good thing. I\'ve reformed some awful habits, and will turn 30 in better shape than I was at 25.

How about randomly quoting simpsons episodes and trying to relate them to real life:

"The burglar even took my stamp collection!"
"YOU have a stamp collection? HAHA"

"Hey, you\'re that drunken posse. Wow! Can I join ya?"
"I don\'t know, can you swing a sack of doorknobs?"
"Can I!"
"You\'re in. Here\'s the sack."
"But you gotta supply your own doorknobs."

i\'ve been spending my time memorizing north american avian, mammalian and reptilian taxonomy from the order level. squamates are the hardest, start with the mammals

if thats too thick, you should read any book by Bernd Heinrich, that\'ll get you revved up

i see you are from weymouth.  you should go to the beaches in quincy, nantasket, or hull.  you can catch mussels during low tide.  if you know a friend with a boat, go fishing.

music... if you don\'t know any instruments start with piano. if you do play some instruments, learn something crazy and new like the steel drums, accordian, melodica, bagpipes or something to that effect.

Climbing, indoor or outdoor. So awesome.

Do you have a dog? Dog training is really fun, with lots of different goals... obedience, agility, therapy, search & rescue... depending upon what your dog\'s strengths are.

Horseback riding.

If you cook, you could get into gardening, grow your own herbs and veggies. Actually, it\'s late in the season for that, never mind.

Ceramics.

Photography.

Mountain biking.

Swimming.

Writing.

Sex.
Masturbation in the MFA
