well, my face certainly was not owned by them. (i can\'t believe i can write a sentence like that and it will actually make sense! lol.) but it will be jounce\'s hometown show, which should add extra spunk to their set, and the breakfast will still be playing, and it\'s only like a half hour from port chester, so... i\'d say yeah, it\'s still worth going for sure.

Anybody who planned on skipping this show because The Breakfast is the opener should read this thread.

And, if that thread is any indication, stay and support Jounce too. They are clearly a class act that digs The Breakfast.
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

1. Has it been decided what time they\'d be going on?

2.  Is it possible to get there via train?

1. THE BREAKFAST I BELIEVE WILL BE PLAYING FROM (9:30-9:45ish) UNTIL ABOUT (11:30) JOUNCE AT AROUND (11:45ish) UNTIL ABOUT (1:30) OR SO.

2. It is possible to get real close to Mexicali via NJTRANSIT trains or buses from NYC.  But a ride from the bus or train stop to the venue itself might be needed, I dont believe any of the stops are really walkable from Mexicali.

Cheers,

come on now we\'ve all seen Jounce! the only played Porters about a billion times, didn\'t they?  Am I thinking of a different Jounce? I could swear I\'ve done sound for them at lease 10 times.

Unfortunately not... I have a family party to go to... And my grandfather is in the hospital and everything is failing... Signed the DNR and there is a heated discussion going on about whether or not to move him to hospice... So, that pretty much supersedes everything... The strange thing is, my grandmother passed away on the early morning of 9/14/02 (the last time I saw PB before this year)... It\'d be strange if he held off till tomorrow...

Just got back, here\'s the set:

I: Metropolis, Inner Glimpse, Tribal Funk Affliction*, Vermont Song, Matt Solo > The Chase, Question, The Grand Scheme of Things**

* - "Stash" tease
** - "Synergy," "Summertime" (from the Porgy and Bess Opera), and "My Favorite Things" teases

Great show.... not a ton of people there but everyone who was there was into it. I thought they played very well and with a lot of energy. (When don\'t they??) Me and Good4Garry had fun, gotta love the NJ shows!! Highlight for me was Tribal and Scheme. Left before Jounce.... off to bed.... Goodnight!
