Man....I just found out today that a close friend of mine\'s 3 month old daughter just died on Thurday night...from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome...SIDS...We are all just STUNNED.....and from your other posts...aren\'t you a new dad? I am a new dad and fortunately, my daughter is healthy (knock on wood). I give all the credit in the world to my brother and sister-in-law; they\'ve got more strength than I could ever imagine that I have.

Got a call yesterday. She spiked a fever last night, so the infection is not gone. They\'re running a barrier of tests to find out what\'s causing the fever. It looks like she\'s not coming home this week. That being said, she\'s in the best possible place to help her out. This kid can\'t catch a break.

I\'m continuing this thread because my grandmother is now in the hospital with pneumonia and advanced parkinsons. I went to see her last night and she just didn\'t look good. I just hope that she gets better quickly or I guess quick and painless is the key words.

sorry to hear man, i just went though this a couple months ago, she held on for way to long. but you get to a point where you just hope they are comfortable through everything.

i hope she makes a recovery. winter is a tough time for the older folks.

Awe, my heart goes out to you. I seriously love my nanny to pieces and i would be beyond heart broken if I had to see her suffer. Your grandmother is in my prayers.....
