.... if you are going to this show tonight, PLEASE remember to bring some non-perishable food for our food drive!  Fans are requested to please bring their non-perishable food donations to the merch table at the show. There will also be a lock box for cash donations to benefit the CT Food Bank, for those interested in supporting this worthwhile cause. $1 provides 3 meals to a family, while $5 provides 18 nutritious meals!!!

Summer is one of the most difficult times for families, since children are back at home. During the school year, the state can provide healthy, free breakfast and lunch for students. However, when they are at home, most children in impoverished conditions will often skip meals, or eat very small amount of food. This is so unhealthy for their growing bodies! CT FoodBank truly hopes you will attend this food drive and help out a worthy cause! Thanks for your help in ending hunger.

:awwyeah: I\'m hoping we beat our record from the last food drive:
106 lbs. of food & $117 were donated - let\'s try to TRIPLE that this time!!!

CT Food Bank is able to receive discounted food from local vendors.  They\'ve said it\'s actually better to donate $$ rather than food since they can provide more food for families using their discounts.

edit:If you can\'t make it to the show, and still want to help out a great cause, visit the Breakfast\'s "Virtual Food Drive" website - you can shop for specific items that are in high demand by local food pantries and shelters.
