Most official teases in a Breakfast tune ever? Possibly by any band ever? Certainly the most Beatles teases in a tune by anyone ever. <<< That\'s a period, even without research.

Impressions w/\'So What\' teases..... SER!

WOW!  That\'s a lot of teases!  I love how after all that they finish it with a Buquebus tease.  :P

this kind of reminded me of the beatles love album.

daniel st has quite a different atmosphere from the acoustic shows at jake\'s. it\'s definitely not as intimate, but it works. hopefully more people will come out next weekend to take up some space in that huge room.

i loved the jazzy theme tonight/salty peanut references. highlight of the first set had to be dig. things got a bit more upbeat during second set when most people finally moved up in front of the stage... see the light was huge with the beatles jam, as was the vermont song. didn\'t see rufus coming, but thoroughly enjoyed the acoustic version. i still need to get used to the new songs. the world needs us is growing on me..i like the sound a lot. need to hear the message again.

after seeing "the breakfast 3.0" for the third time now, i have to say that the arrangement with chris works pretty damn well.  can\'t wait for next weekend!

After listening to The Message half a dozen times, I don\'t like it. It sounds like a high-school jamband wrote it. :duck:  Officially a piss break/smoke tune fresh outta\' the gates for me. Go ahead, scold me.

Overall...a really good show.  Especially, like someone pointed out, when the crowd moved up...the energy started to flow.  "Impression\'s" was sick.  Great to hear Tim ripping on the Wes Montgomery licks...octaves = awesome. Vocal improves...interesting and humerous.

Despite Gordo\'s comments...."The Message" was interesting.  The unison lines at the end will be crazy when they get them really tight.  I like that Matt is bringing some fresh ideas to the stage.  Gordo,  you should chill a little.  That was the first time they played the song.....are you a musician??  Because if you are, you should know that it takes a little time to really make a new tune gel.

Bottom line.....I had a lot of fun last night....more people should come down next week.  I have a feeling, like at Jake\'s, this is going to heat up as the weeks go on.

Easily one of the best PB shows I\'ve EVER seen. The jazzy side of the band permeated the entire show. Salt Peanuts spread around like notes out of Bird\'s horn. Impressions owning every last inch of my being. And ending all this benevolence with a fucking sick ass Rufus.

Thank you PB. You\'ve done it again.

ROCK.

"son of orange county" is the song with the "I just can\'t belive you are such a fool" section that I gave you the wrong name to dave. Did they tease "oh no" also?

sick show.

"Dig": now with a new, faster section (where Matt\'s keyboard solo was), plus three-part vocal harmonies!

Great stage banter/vocal jam wackiness last night. At some point during the evening, "See the Light" became my favorite Breakfast tune. Can\'t really weigh in knowledgeably on the new songs yet, but first impression is that I like them all, with "World Needs Us" as my favorite of the three. Matt\'s songwriting is a truly different style from the majority of current Breakfast songs that will continue to add a great new element to this band.

I dig the tune, definitely needs some time to evolve.

"come along with me and I will take you there"
reminds me a lot of "like a prayer" by Madonna though....
