I\'m really liking the direction the band is heading in.

The newer songs seem to me they will be more accessible to new fans w/o sacrificing the Breakfast "sound".

Lyric wise the songs have nice hooks in the choruses and the rest of the verses make for more singing along.
Vocally the band is stepping up in a way they have not since they first released Real Radio.

The vocals may not be for everyone but now they at least have some consistent 3 part and sometimes 4 part harmonies and the guys are staying within their ranges for the most part.

Chris adds a depth on Bass with his tone that adds a whole different level to the jams. Tim seems more invigorated than ever as he has such a diverse palette to play upon, under, and all around.
There is more space in the playing and that Balance Matt spoke about when joining the band seems closer than ever to being achieved.

They keep this up and the folk that book festies will have no choice but to take notice!

I agree leith but from my point of view you forgot one major thing thing.  Striker is now a major driving force in this band with the ability to take the spotlight off tim and draw all eyes to him at any given song or even for an entire show. Jordan used to take a nice solo here and there but his influence to the direction of the jams and his ability to stand out and stage presence and intensity was never anything what striker has been doing recently or will do in the future. I can definitely foresee future newbs taking notice of strikers skills before they recognize the greatness of timmy or adrian. he\'s that good and at times probably a little more accessible to the newby ears I think. The same can be said to a lesser degree for chris/ronnie. Much more of a factor. The dynamic of the band has really changed.  For the better. THe future is very very bright.

Ehh I probably left it out because from the first show I saw with him in the band I said that was gonna happen eventually. I kept raving about how awesome it was to have someone on keys talented enough in the band to push Tim to further heights.

Really couldn\'t have said it better. The fact that Matty is FINALLY coalescing with Tim and Adrian is fucking monumental. He\'s fluid now. And only getting more viscous. And as much as I fucking LOVE Ronnie (which I do a SHITLOAD), I think adding Chris\' technique and vocal harmonies to what\'s been laid as the PB foundation (of Adrian and Timmy) is doing nothing but making the band the best they\'ve ever been. More Timmy epics are on the way, for sure. Patience is a virtue, especially with a band like The Breakfast. As I told Tim the other night at BAR, PB has gone from being a Timmy (and sometimes Adrian) tour de force to a fucking ensemble cast that I couldn\'t imagine in a fucking wet dream. Kudos to you boys and keep up the fantastic work. I can\'t tell you how impressed I was last night.

PB = Dopest shit out on the streets.
One way or another this darkness got to give...
