junior year of high sckool me and my boys went to camp creek to see a band that we (mistakenly) thought we had seen playing before a Phil show. an eighth of shrooms and one Rufus>Merge>Buquebus later I was totally hooked. a few days later we were at the meadows for an allman bros show telling my boy dredmonkey about this insanely sick band we saw, and there they were raging out in the parking lot. pretty cool

I was in a band and was at a friend\'s (Mike W.) studio in Staven doing some recording. He asked if I ever heard of PB. I said I had heard of them, but never heard their music.  He played 20 seconds of Puppetry off the studio album and the rest is history!

Shortly thereafter:

January 27th, 2001            Powder Hollow Barn            Enfield, CT

I: What The Funk > Sundance, Superfly Phaddy Fat > Attraction To Shade Ditty > Gladys Pimp >
     Phaddy Boom Baddy*, Moby Dick

Gabe (Buquebus) brought me to my first show at the Iron Horse on 2/5/05.  The opening notes of Rufus got me hooked and the show was solid.  They played Moby Dick later in the set and I was like "ok...let\'s see if this drummer can pull of the drum solo."  Adrian nailed it and after that the breakfast was too legit to quit (HEY HEY!!) in my eyes.  i also met TKA at this show.  After the show, gabe and I got lost on the way back to boston.  little did i know that I would be taking many more adventures to see the breakfast after this night.  my 2nd show was the first night of the puppet house shows (the morrison hotel show).  that was a very fun and sloppy night.  i remember meeting some .infoers like spacey and probably leith but never made the connection of who they were until a a year later.  my 3rd show was beardslee castle and i went w/ gabe and holly.  that show was insanely crazy and messy but tons of fun.  after that show, i wanted MORE MORE MORE

Gavin brought me to the real radio release party in 05\'. I knew about them and dug it. I got my first PB recording from my friend Davis in 2004.

i remember seeing you NH peeps at that show, and thinking, "those kids drove from New Hampshire?? thats hardcore!!" ...kicked off one of the wildest years of my life :D

as for me... i was chillin at my friend Mike Mancini\'s house (him and a friend took the boys\' spots in mokijam after psychedelic breakfast formed, i think...) but, we heard the first album, and i remember mike singin superfly phaddy phat and saying "this is ssssick"... i think i was about 15. after that, i saw them at the Hawk\'s Nest and the University of Hartford in 2000.... and the rest is history folks!!
and what CAN you do, when your world is invaded by a reggaejunkiejew?!?

i started hearin about pb like 2002, freshmen year of college.  i somehow missed the couple of shows at uconn that all of my ecsu friends went to.  finally in 2005 i went to moe.down where they played the saturday three set money spot in the tent, in between all the big acts on the main stage.  breakfast owned that festival, and my mind was blown. after the first set i left mmw and moe.\'s sets early to make sure i was in front for breakfast in the tent.

my second show was at the wheelhouse tavern and me and face were up front makin a ruckus and i was yellin for peaches en regalia all night.  they played it for the encore and i signed up on thebreakfast.info that night.

and here we are

My friend Evan, who also helped get me interested in Phish, invited me to a Psychedelic Breakfast show. I had never heard of \'em before but agreed to go anyway. I was completely owned. I immediately thought Adrian was the best drummer I had ever seen. Obviosly Tim blew my mind as well and I liked how happy he seemed to be while shredding. He had a shit eating grin on his face practically the whole night. Unfortunately we were forced by the parental guardians to leave early, I think we probably left during Language thus missing the only Beer Jubilee ever. The legalize marijuana Food For Thought was probably the coolest thing to me back then as a 17 year old kid who had not too long before started gettin into the pot. I bought a pb lighter at the merch table which turned out to be a pretty cheap ass lighter. Adrian should bring back the gong!

March 8th, 2002 – Pearl Street; Northampton, MA
I: Attraction To Shade Ditty > Drunk Monk Bar, Cut Me Some Slack, The Vermont Song > Jam > Sundance > Transcendental Meditation > Sundance, Dig, Food For Thought* > Tribal Funk Affliction > Mommy What\'s A Funkadelic > Tribal Funk Affliction > Drum Solo, Peace Frog > Taboo Or Not Taboot, Language Of The Gods, Superfly Phaddy Fat
E: Beer Jubilee**, Beef Barley
* Legalize marijuana (part 2).
** Jordan on harmonica, Adrian on tambourine, Ron on maracas, Tim on guitar; first time played.

daffodil jill kept telling me and telling me, but i never listened... then, on our first date (12/31/03) we went to toad\'s and they opened with mayfly. needless to say, i was hooked! the saddest part was that i had intended to see them a year or so earlier, when ancient harmomy (who i drove to random states on random weeknights to see) was gonna open for them, but AH broke up the week before.

Having been a deadhead for years, I guy in the local record shop suggested I check out phish. From there, someone on a music board (maybe furthernet??) said I should check out sci and the biscuits. While googling around for tdb, I came across an article about the guitarists in tdb and a new "up and coming band from CT". Got some mp3s off the web and was hooked - hard to believe that was over 7 years ago!!

my cousin and i used to surf the internet for \'rare\' bands in high school. he told me about psychedelic breakfast so i downloaded phaddy boom baddy and LDZ. when phaddy boom baddy became popular at a graduation party, i downloaded the first album. (I have purchased the rest, dont hate on me)
i think it\'s turning back on me / i\'m down on the upside

it was on 5-5-05.

roll call, who else was at this show?

An old friend of mine from high school was going to UHart, went to visit him and was just searching for something to do that night, saw that PB was playing at The Hawks Nest, was so blown away I had moments where I literally couldn\'t move.  It\'s been like heroin since then, except I actually catch the dragon.  It\'s hard to think of where all the time has gone.

Saw them open for Max Creek at Toad\'s place. No idea what the date was, but it was a long time ago. I have no recollection of what they played, but it was enough for me to go see them again. And again. And again...

6 years + is a newb? :hscratch: call it what you will, but I still got you by 200+ shows. ;) (even though I kinda cheated, although I like to think of it as doing what I had to do) It is what it is.

and my next show was a week later, not a year.  Come on Igzy where\'s the dedication? ;)

as I said it is what it is, 76 shows, 200 shows, who cares?  It\'s all about good tunes and good people.
