Which would you rather be if you had to choose?

At first I thought blind as music rules my life, then I thought how fucking scary it must be to not be able to see.
I still am wondering which I would choose.

are we talking fully 100% of both, or legally blind/deaf? Legally blind you can still see a little.

If I was deaf I\'d be listening to a ton of atonal music really loud. That\'s how beethoven worked on the 9th. Cut the legs off of his piano and sat on the floor playing it, feeling the vibrations.

blind withoutadoubt.  besides the obvious music dependency I also suppose I wouldn\'t mind not giving a fuck at all about appearances.  I would just hope people would make sure i dress better than stevie wonder.

what does it matter at that point, as long as everything else is good and you can\'t tell me you wouldn\'t be able to feel around and at this point in your life make some kind of guess what the other person looks like.

It shouldn\'t matter what the other person looks like.  If they love you enough to be with you because you are blind, that\'s true love.  If they are kind to you, say beautiful words to you.... Who cares what their face looks like?    Blind or with sight.     Sigh.  I guess i am an old romantic.

If you went deaf, you\'d still talk ok. Volume could be a problem at times, but you\'d still sound just as fucked up as now.


Personally, I\'d take being blind. Music is way too important to me. And...I wouldn\'t have to drive to all the shows anymore.
