Looks like I was a little off...

Manny Ramirez to the Dodgers, Jason Bay to the Red Sox, 4 minor leaguers to the Pirates.

Manny Ramirez for Jason Bay straight up would be a bit of a dropoff for the Sox but understandable given the circumstances.  Manny + two prospects for Jason Bay just seems like the Sox got taken a bit.  I love Manny and I hate to see him go but I will enjoy posting a Youtube video of me burning my Manny shirt.

We are begging to get re-cursed.  Next Sox championship: 2094?  Hehe just kidding.  As long as baseball has no salary cap then only 8-10 teams have a legit shot each year and the Red Sox will always be one of them so even though things will ebb and flow for a few years you can pretty much count on the Sox (and Yankees) averaging 1-2 championships every 8 years from here to eternity.

i like how many looks like a tool now for saying they would never trade him and making all those stupid jokes about it. i think that motivated them even more to pull the trigger.

I can\'t believe Manny actually got traded, I never thought they would do it.  I love Manny and am really sad to see him go. :(

Manny\'s a "f"ing baby.  If you unhappy with your situation, take it up with your agent and the sox brass, don\'t go to the media and or hold up stupid signs on tv.  No doubt, he\'s a great player, but this "Manny being Manny" shit is why Boston wanted to get rid of him and why I would never have him on the Yanks.

HOLY SHITTY TRADE BATMAN.

I could see Manny for Jason Bay, but why are they giving up Brandon Moss and Craig "the big disapointment" Hanson?

I\'m a Jets fan, but yes, I was happy when they got rid of him.  I don\'t believe that any one player is better than the whole team.

You probably thought the same thing after the Nomar trade.  Careful what you wish for Yankee Fan.
