so, did you hear about the new cameras they are installing in ct ledfoot? They are going to time you, snap a pic of your license and mail tickets to your house. Probably a while off but I\'ve been hearing more and more about it. Going to suck once those are up and running!
Ugh, I hope this works better than Easy pass does, which doesn\'t even rely on just the cameras alone. Easy pass has had a big problem with ticketing the wrong people. I know someone who was sent a ticket for speeding through an Easy Pass, and it was mailed with a photograph of his license plate. It was in fact someone else\'s plate, but he was not home to correct them/fight it. He was away for on vacation, did not get the mail, and then was driving around one day and got pulled over. Turns out, because he hadn\'t paid the (relatively inexpensive) fine, his license had been suspended, without any notice being sent to him. To make matters worse, he had just gotten a job with Direct tv, which requires driving. I think he is out of a job now.
I believe they have received some lawsuits lately for this type of thing.
