So do I. Kobe is the guy I want taking that shot anyday. I tried to convince someone on this forum of that. I hope they were watching.

Bryant\'s shot at the end of regulation was even more ridiculous than the game-winner. Ruben Patterson had two free throws with the Blazers up three points with eight seconds left in regulation and bricked both of them. If he hits even one, the Lakers are the four seed instead of the two. Gotta love it.

The Lakers winning the Pacific after the year they had is ridiculous. It just goes to show the NBA is not what it used to be. I do believe if Chick had seen this year even he would not think they could have taken the Division. A little luck and the miraculous meltdown of the Queens have left the Lakers in control of their Destiny and if KG can not get out of the 1st round AGAIN who becomes #1 seed nxt round?

I can\'t believe those 2 shots Kobe made...absolutely amazing.  What an incredible clutch performance.  2 of the toughest shots you\'ll ever see, and it\'s not like they were lucky shots either.  Half court shots are lucky shots, these were just plain nasty.  Plays like that lead to championships, no doubt about it.  Mad props to Kobe.  I am upping the over/under on Kobe\'s predicted scoring average at San Bernadino Maximum Security Correctional Facility from 85 PPG to 91 PPG.

Hey Pitch! Howza abt that win?
Think they want to just be done w/ the West Coast Knicks?
It\'s looking like the bench is finding their way. Luke and Kareem especially.

now that\'s more like it.. still lopsided though. kobe and malone came through with big games, but shaq and payton were silent.. all 4 need to show up every night if they\'re gonna do this.

Nah, they\'re too good.  They can get by on 2 out of 4 if the other team doesn\'t play well, and 3 out of 4 anytime.  Of their 58 total wins, how many have come with all 4 playing well?  5 or 6?  It\'s too easy.

Some funny stuff happening with the two coaches media comments, but to more serious business...that selfish Bryant!

Relatively calm win, decided in the last five minutes of the third quarter. Shaq only scored 7, but had a key "and-1" during the decisive run. Medvedenko\'s hurt, could miss a game or two, no huge deal. Payton looks like he\'s asleep and with Fisher and Rush playing well, I don\'t care. Bryant is this team\'s point guard anyway. One of his best playoff games following one of his worst.

Here\'s an interesting fact: Robert Horry is 11-of-15 from the field for the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs. Should the inevitable rematch occur, I smell a few "accidental" elbows from Mr. Malone to the chin of the former Laker, turned foe. Does anybody seem to recall Horry shooting 2-of-35 for last year\'s entire playoffs? That series has 7 games written all over it. But first things first: Gotta get 1 of 2 in Texas, then wrap it up in L. A.

huge win yesterday.. great comeback in OT after going completely stale after hitting the 81-point mark, yao fouls out, kobe makes a huge defensive play, francis clotheslines a young girl in the crowd, and the lakers go on to take a key 3-1 lead.

And the Bryant steal-and-score was my favorite play of the season so far. Is a comfortable 20-point win on Wednesday too much to ask?
