Well they shouldn\'t have been down 19 to the Magic but as it was Kobe came through AGAIN. Kobe ties Laker record for most points in a quarter(24). 8 more consecutive games @ home, they currently are in the 3rd seed by 1/2 a game, and have the starting 5 back on the floor together. 15 games to get it runnin\' smooth for the playoffs :)

Well they barely got past the Clips but @ least they won. Kobe figures the Sacto game to be so important he is flying to Colo. that day and flying back to L.A. for the game AND then going back to Colo.
Anyone who thinks that the Lakers are not ser about their run for the championship is crazee.

Another close win but the Mailman and Kobe close it out. Shaq w/ 20+ rebounds(it\'s about time) Bench knockin\' down their shots. Slowly but surely they are getting ready for the playoffs still the 3rd seed w/ the possibility of still taking the #1 seed.

Finally, the Lakers earned a convincing win against a legitimate title contender. Balanced offense. Medvedenko was key during the 25-1 first-quarter run after Malone\'s two quick fouls, one of which was bullshit. Bryant\'s best game of the season. Shaq\'s on fire. Payton with 20. Kings can\'t defend and can\'t board. Timberwolves lose again. Have to beat them Friday. One seed within reach.

Currently 2nd seed but that won\'t be for long. 1st seed is going to happen. Everyone else is falling away just as the Lakers are coming on. Hmmm. If I remember correctly I believe this was predicted earlier in the year by some myopic Laker fan. Oh yeah that was me.
